Thank you titlezero, this just confirms it: it's a case of bot buyers. I have seen the same names in my shop too, several times.
I wonder if this problem derives from buying wheat from bot farms (can they put a tracker/tag!?). Feedback from game support would be appreciated, as well as a solution to the problem.

    BOT Accounts buying my BEMS

BOT buyers are taking my BEMS, sometimes SEMS which are only intended for neighbor/friends/real shoppers. I did an experiment putting Barn tools in different boxes in my rss, and in different times. To my dismay my tools will be immediately bought by an account with weird names and with no avatars. I am sure now as their actions are automated, I will literally would just count 3-10 seconds and it is gone from my shop. They have a software that detects Barn items in rss's. No I did not advertise, no i did not recently helped them nor I follow them or I'm being followed. This is sad as I feel happiness whenever I get to help someone upgrade their barn, but now I can no longer do that. I already reported this to SC Team, and they replied they are checking the issue with their specialist. Sadly, until now I still have the problem, and I can still see many BOT farms in my rss and the newspaper (selling wheat for 1, weird names, inactive machines/animals). Hoping this will be fixed soon so that there will be no more victims of this schemes.

I have the same problem of BOT buyers that detects I'm selling BEMS in about 3-10 seconds after I posted the tools. With alpha numeric and farm animal names. Support says they are making their specialists check the issue but until now it is not yet fixed. What they need to do is hire someone who truly knows how to fix it. This bot scheme has been going for quite a long time now.

This issue really worries me, it feels like somehow the bot buyers have hacked individual games. And there has been no response from SuperCell!

I would be tempted to quit the game over this, and I suspect SC is losing players because of it....

This has happened to me too - I think the name and shame rule is absurd in this case - these are not people we are identifying, it's nasty bots who are stealing tools during trades and sales - they have animal names, and how else will other players know to screen shot and report them if not ?

I really really hope that buying from a bot, which can happen completely by accident, isn't some way to infect a farm - this seems to be happening a lot to certain farms and not at all to others. Maybe it's also an operating system thing.

I really hope they fix this one fast !!!

QUICK UPDATE - I managed to sell tools by using totally random prices - not the min, max, or 1 coin - just an utterly random amount and it worked. No buyer bot.

be careful, penalties are shot fast here i noticed recently
more seriously i posted this pbm 1 week ago which means i saw it started some days before, i m very surprised of the silence of hd team and really wonder if they read this section.

ps : the problem is still here and now i have a certain amount of things i dont want to give to bots in shop, maybe supercell could give us a temporary space in barn?!
    thank you,

ok dove i tried too, just now, 1 nail for 33c, gone in 1 second took by 1 bot in my list...sorry to tell
