    Pinned up tab feature

Love the newest feature: pinned-up tab, where when I leave one tab to go other tab (! or last helper) the last tab I visited will stay in the same position, making it easier when I want to continue browsing through my neighbors' shops.
    Questions are:
    1. What makes them will go back to the first position (Greg)? If I leave the app without fully closing it will it stay in the last position I positioned it?
    2. Is there any way to get back to the first position (Greg) faster other than scrolling back?

Love to know this too! I always use greg to go from there to the lowest level friends. I scroll al lot trough my friends and it has positive aspects that it stays where i was, but when i get it in my mind to check the lower levels, i have to scroll back to greg. It's not a big deal normally, but the scrolling doesn't go smooth at all. ( freez a lot)

Love this improvement. It would be better if we can scroll to the left and visit low level player more quickly.

I also used the Last Helpers tab to "jump" in the middle of the line and reach the shop at 2 or 3 friends away. Or the leaderboard if I recall their farm name and/or rank.

To get back to Greg, you may access the one nearest to Greg, go to his farm, visit the shop, pass through to greg's shop and visit Greg's farm. That's 5 steps but it could help with a very long friend list.

I most definitely do NOT like the "stay open" feature of the friends tab. I play on an iPhone, so when the tab is open, it takes up just under half of the screen. Since it is impossible to play with the tab open, the new "feature" means that every time I navigate to a new farm, I have an extra click to close it. There is no plus side of this change for me, only minus.

The same happens to me. And when the friends bar is open, you are shopping and the barn gauge appears you can only see about 2/3 inch of playing area. Not great planning on SC part for those of us with iPhones.

Mine stayed open before the update but I use an ipad. And sometimes it would still get in the way. I frankly don't know how you folks with the iPhones play at all with that thing open. Maybe this was another of those bugs that they fixed and we didn't know it was a bug.

It seems to have a misunderstanding here.

There are 2 changes affected the menu:
    1. Menu does not hide itself when you visit a farm (and yeah, that's annoying)
    2. Inside the menu, there are 4 tabs: "!" , "Last helpers", "Friends" and "Followers". Now when you scroll through the friend list (let's say the one at level 20), switch to Last helpers tab then switch back to Friends tab, what you see is the one at level 20 and not the top of the list like before.

I believe the OP is talking about the 2nd change.

Thanks for all the answers & input. To get to Greg faster perhaps it's true we can go via lowest level neighbor but to get to Greg's position i.e in the highest position there's still no way. I used to switch tab then get back to Friends tab to get back to the foremost position but now I can't anymore. Not that I'm complaining though
I agree that the 'automatic hide tab' feature should be implemented again. But this 'stay in last position' tab shouldn't be removed
