Dear COC development team, I know you worked hard and long to bring us a Ferrari of an update, too bad that it crashed into a cement pillar and was totaled when the fuel tank exploded and the driver got fourth degree burns. But despite that, You really did manage to do so, you totally changed the game, it's not quite Clash of Clans anymore, but maybe a big pile of dross. Thank you for managing to make it completely favor gemmers. Thank you for managing to insult and demean every player on the game. Thank you for creating a terrible hybrid of Clash Royale and Clash of Clans. Thank you for creating months of hype all for a dud. Thank you for ruining all of your credibility. I say this with all my heart. Thank you, and Congratulations, you have achieved failure.

I'm really happy and want thank you so much SC for this update, it was what I looking for stop with this game. 4 years, great fun, maximized village, lot of friends, but nothing new and successive mistakes in updates make me give up. Is it so difficult to hear the players? #RIPCOC #COCIQUIT

We just got another community manager as per the sticky above. Maybe we'll see him more than once every few months (if we are lucky) and get some info unlike the last year's from Anoushka. Well, he has already talked about his cat, but you know, ACTUAL game related stuff would be nice.

Nothing has changed since 2012 in that regard so I'm not even surprised anymore at how they handle updates. Shocking as always.

Mate.....I was really looking forward to this, then i was let down that it had nothing to do with existing game, but I was still positive, righto I will give it a go, I saw the gear for canon and thought this will be cool, max th11, i will go and farm the heck outta of new base and have some fun.....until I hit that cap.....mate that was the biggest gut punch ever.....i have never been more dissapointed playing a game....

I'm reserving judgement in the hope I don't have to push endlessly in the new world in order to remain competitive in war in the original world.
I've pushed, and dropped enough gems to get to BH4 on one account but I've already found the ceilings that I found in Clash Royale on all of my CoC accounts, and these ceilings mean that the new world game probably wont be fun for me to play.
If this new game becomes integral to the old one, requiring much investment of time, I can see a lot of war players leaving.
