Personally I hate this update quite a bit because of the loot cap and how it costs a ridiculous amount of gems to be able to skip that stupid wait. If they would shorten that loot cap, the update would be better. And yes, I will let one thing ruin the whole, cause the loot cap is nothing but greed showing it's face. No matter how pansies here try to sugar coat it, it's a bad thing. It is insulting and repulsive to the entire ideal of the game.

Well a little while back I decided I was so disappointed by a few things happening on the forums that I no longer wanted to be part of that aspect of the community. It took a lot to drive me away but that is another story for another time.....This "update" was enough to bring me back for a single post.
I cannot begin to express my disappointment at this over hyped change to the game. I tried to play CR back when it came out and it was not my cup of tea at all. Lasted 4 days and then removed if from my iPad. Now I am being FORCED to play something that reminds me very much of the game I chose to not play so I can unlock options for the main game??? There were easily a good dozen suggestions that were made by forum members that would have truly excited me to see added to the game. A well thought out recruiting tool in game, a building that pooled donations for the clan to draw on whenever needed. The ability to block players from harassing players and clans permanently. Any of a dozen really cool ideas about changes to clan wars that would have made them exciting again. SOME WAY TO ADDRESS ENGINEERED WAR BASES...........but no instead we get what looks to me to be just another poorly masked attempt to generate gem sales......................disappointment doesn't even begin to describe what I am feeling.
Each day I feel myself want to log in less and less. The only real draw is to continue to run our clan and help people i have know for the last 3 years. I saw several log back in today only to go silent after an hour....obviously logged out from disappointment. I really do hope this update brings people back but that is not what we are seeing in the clan so far. Just people saying repeatedly.....is this it? is this what we have been waiting for that we were told was so amazing.....??

Although this thread is pretty negative, most of the complaints I see have some strong reasoning behind them:
Loot is crazily limited in CoC2
Loot is not limited in CoC1, only builders and so time require gems
(This makes it more like CR, which isn't really a good thing)
If you're going to give us a new base, at least let us try to make some progress with it!

There's basically NO new content in CoC1.
That's a perfectly valid complaint I feel, there really isn't anything. I had 14M gold ready for the update (because maxed) and there is literally nothing to spend it on. Even walls... why no more walls?
3 new spells (one of which literally no one uses! Heal at TH10) creating

It's very much the same, but starting again from scratch.
Sure the way we raid is different (but it's not necessarily better) and it won't have clouds
Players have been starting again with second, third and thirtieth accounts for ages now

my guess is I'll be unlocking Builder base content to upgrade my TH11...
All this update needs is a way to get loot. Having to wait an entire day to finally get some more loot is annoying. once you get your daily loot bonus all you can do is get trophies. I want to work on upgrading my Builder Hall Base but i cant because no matter how much i grind i have to wait till the next day to get loot unlike with your Town Hall you can grind all day and get loot to upgrade your base.

You're greedy for wanting to total full free play without a wait or a dime spent. Life doesn't work like that.

They did give us almost enough free gems to stay busy for the day with the new achievements... just sayin...
OMG.... almost every troop in coc2 has 10 levels..... TEN LEVELS to be MAXED!! SUPERCELL do you want us to develop this stupid vilage for another 5-7 YEARS????!!! this is just crazy!!!!!! just put this ♥♥♥♥ OUT OF THE CLASH as a separate game and FOCUS on ORIGINAL CLASH we loved!!!!!!
