I never post/read these forums. I joined recently because I was truly excited about the potential of this update and wanted to share in the overall community anticipation. This is the only game I play. I started playing it to do something different with my son. I really, really enjoy this game. But I feel like it was a total bait and switch with the update....something massive, amazing coming. We did not want this...this does nothing to enhance the things we enjoy and work toward in this game. To say I am disappointed would be a massive understatement.
But beyond that...I am angry at the youtube mouthpieces who pump this thing up when they knew good and well this thing was total ♥♥♥♥. Have some stones and tell supercell, development team, etc. up front this thing is a steaming turd and it will not fly with real players as opposed to just rubber stamping everything because you get to see it before everyone else.

The youtubers get to play with unlimited gems on the dev build. It's probably lot of fun that way ��

1v1 SHOULD HAVE COME TO NORMAL VILLAGE.

Instant longevity for all those max 11s with nothing to do.

You have a perfect trophy system now, it's just in the wrong place. Admittedly there would be loads of work to get it in place, (attack/defensive CCs, complete shield rework) but then, not as much as the horrific pay-to-play builder map.

I actually like the pushing trophies 1v1 aspect of it. It's wonderful. Like we told you it would be over a year ago.
It's just on the wrong damned village.

Exactly this -- it's an amazing game mode -- unfortunately, it isn't implemented in to Clash of Clans but some random other game that they forced me to download and play riddled with cash grab mechanics and pay to win schemes far stronger than the original CoC

Set Sail for a New World

Welcome to the Builder Base, Chief! This exciting new land is run by the Master Builder. He’s your only Builder on this side of the sea, but his superior smarts have helped him develop some awesome new advancements. Once you make it to Town Hall 4 at your home village, you can rebuild the boat and set sail for the other side.

Things work a little differently in this realm. For starters, the Builder Base is powered by different resources. The elixir and gold you collect over here can’t be used in your home village, but Gems will cross over. And a brand new world means brand new achievements. Complete them all!



New Features

Thanks to the Master Builder’s talented touch, you’ll see interesting twists on familiar buildings, such as:

• The Archer Tower's switch toggles between fast attack or long range.
• The Multi Mortar's multi-barreled attack is tough for troops to dodge

New Buildings

He’s also dreamed up some exciting new buildings! These brand new additions include:

• Crusher: A powerful new defense that does exactly what it sounds like— crush enemies!
• Push Trap: Scatter attacking armies by tossing troops in a direction of your choosing.
• Gem Mine: Collect gems over time! Upgrade it to increase its output.
• Clock Tower: Boost the speed of everything in the Builder Base, from build time to resource mining!

New Abilities

The crystallized elixir found on this side has given familiar faces a new look with new tricks that they can use in combat! Upgraded troops gain powerful special abilities, such as:

• Sneaky Archer: "Cloak" makes her invisible to enemy defenses for a short period of time.
• Boxer Giant: "Power Punch" makes his first attack do huge damage!

New Troops

The Master Builder has harnessed the power of this new resource to train up new troops. For example:

• Bomber: Tosses big bombs that can blow up several buildings at once.
• Cannon Cart: A four-wheeling fortification brought to the front line.

New Hero

Some heroes are born, others are built. Once unlocked at Builder Hall 5, the Master Builder will join the fight in his Battle Machine! Upgrade this mechanical monster to level 5 to unlock its “Electric Hammer” ability.


New Battle Mode: Versus Battle

Introducing a brand new way to fight: Versus Battle! This new battle style lets you take on opponents in a head-to-head attacking competition! Similar to Clan Wars, both competitors attack one another and the best attack wins the prize. Resources won’t be lost on defense.

Win three Versus Battles per day to get the biggest loot payout, then continue battling for new Versus Trophies. Follow the competition on the new leaderboard!


New Game Mechanics

The Builder Base’s setup has ease of management top of mind. Over here troops train automatically, Walls come in segments and you cannot be attacked while away.
Troops are trained in groups and each Army Camp holds one group at a time. Upgrade troops to fit more units per camp and build more camps to diversify your ranks. With no Master Wizards around spells haven't made it to these shores, so take advantage of your troops' special abilities instead!


Where Old Meets New

Leverage the Master Builder’s expertise to enhance your home village. Once your Cannon is at a high enough level, you’ll see a “Gear Up” option when you tap on it. Gearing Up this defense will give it the same awesome abilities as its Builder Base counterpart: the Double Cannon!
“Gear Up” is only available when the Master Builder isn’t busy in the Builder Base. It’s a long trip, so make sure he’s free. Keep an eye out for more Gear Up options in the future, too!

worst update ever....way to hype it up so much, just to ♥♥♥♥ on us. I understand we have to start low, work our way up... I understand we get less loot at the beginning... what I don't understand is why I can't get more loot?! Like ♥♥♥ supercell? So I need to sit at BH3 for a full 24 hours and do nothing. On top of that, I have no idea if tomorrow I'll be able to actually move to BH4...I don't know how much loot supercell will allow me to get. Also Rahilman, you DO have to use this village , whether you want to or not...if you don't you won't be able to gear up your main village, leaving you behind while everyone else has double cannons, faster archer towers etc... Supercell, I guarantee that if you don't fix the "loot problem" you will be losing a very large portion of F2P players....something I'm sure you do not want.

For real? You cry about this update?
Really?
I mean, REALLY?

After such an amazing update, you still whine? What the hell do you want? Seriously, what the hell do you want???
You cry about new TH level, they add it, along with a new hero, new defense and a bunch of new content and you cry, "It's only for high level players", "How creative, more ways to spend gems and earn money" etc etc.
You ask for gem collectors, night mode, they add it - and here you cry again, "Oh look, more ways to spend gems and take our money", "A new village? I wanted something to do with my old one!".
And this happens after every single update. These are just some examples I can think of.

Just. STOP.

For God's sake, what is wrong with you? Supercell has given you soo many things that you ask for, and still, so many people crying.

This update is for high level players, low level players, for everyone. Yeah, it does mean we have to start over - but why is that a bad thing??
First of all, it's something else to do. You can be a farmer in one village, and a pusher in the other.
You can battle in one village while the troops are training in the other.
Not to mention the new mechanics in the new village, with the new defenses and traps.

As they said, it's HUGE, and hell yeah, it's a 15/10 in my opinion.

And no, I'm not a th6 who is excited to start all over where I can be among the stronger players.
This game became stale for me, and some problems, like what to do while waiting for troops, or when there's nothing left to upgrade besides the walls, which is a never ending grind and makes you bored, were all addressed in this update.

So please, get the hell out, stop whining, and don't forget to leave all your collectors and mines outside.

Since obviously nothing will ever satisfy you.
