Sadly the new "update" is here, more like the new "game" is here. I am highly disapointed. Supercell clearly dropped the ball on this, basically left the main base alone and created a sub game with certain ties to our main bases. Instead of addressing game play issues with the main game smirked their responsibilities in my opinion. They could have looked at the Th10 upgrades, allowed lower new players a way to upgrade faster. Why not go to a th 12 and give the maxed players something to do.
My biggest complaint and this goes straight at streamers and Supercell most notably Powerbang and twitch streamers. They played us really well with the excitement of an update. I am wondering what Supercell used to buy their loyalty. They flew several of these streamers to Finland to discuss the roll out and they came back and reported how great this was. Bernie Madoff would have been proud with this con job. The streamers were our voice and a contact point with the developers and leadership at Supercell. They failed, to my point PowerBar actually spoke up about the loot cap and said it wasn't a good idea. He knows this was a bad update, however he is "obligated" to defend it.
The bottom line is I spend my time upgrading my main base to get better for my clan wars. I really think it is a major disservice to the COC community to ask us to play a different "game" to progress.
My feeling is Supercell wanted another stand alone game crossing Clash Royal and Clash of Clans, but during beta they did not receive the feedback they wanted or needed and decided to throw it in with COC. Supercell then took it a step further to tie it in to the main base to force play on the new game. They had to much time and effort tied to a new game they knew would not work on it own. The fact they involved the streamers in on this should have raised red flags everywhere. This is just my opinion on this debacle.
Supercell owes and apology needs to own this mistake and correct it immediately. The streamers have lost credibility and they should owning and address this behavior as well. Bottomline to Supercell is make it right. Pull the update and focus on making Clash of Clans better from top to bottom. This looks like a cash grab, and stinks to high heavan.
