Not really sure I understand the hate against loons. Been raiding all day with rage and clone and having no issues at all. Just 80% 2-star a maxed 11.

I am very upset but trying to remain constructive.

• First Marketing. To bait players with zero facts for months about a 'huge' update coming was terrible and childish. It was borderline insulting how long it dragged out and how little information we got.
• Real COC almost untouched. Nothing to fix Engineered bases, nothing to better balance less used troops, nothing to fix the broken trophy system, no new game mode for COC1. NO COC1 UPDATE!
• COC2 starting over. I have ZERO desire to start over from scratch. No thank you!
• COC2 new game mode. I do not like this at all. This is not new. The forums were loaded with great ideas such as a master clan base to defend, or double teaming a bigger base, etc. TONS of great ideas and we get to live attack another player real time... only in COC2. Massive disappointment.
• COC2 loot. Since all players are live, no more dead bases. Loot will be an issue.
• COC2 Hero. Heroes are one of the biggest balance issues in COC1. Starting over I would expect SC to have understood that... but nope here we are with a new hero.
• Cash grab. I have defended SC many times that COC is not a cash grab game. This update feels like nothing but a huge cash grab.

Overall I cannot even begin to express how disappointed and angry I am over this supposed update. If SC had communicated with us and explained this was COC2 then expectations would have properly been set. I am a Max TH11 player and honestly this update makes me want to just uninstall the app. It is that upsetting and disappointing.

Will Gear Up'd cannons be useable in war? If so does that put the engineered base at a decisive disadvantage unless they upgrade defenses thereby reducing the engineered advantage? If so it's a fairly clever move to take away the incentive to engineer as there will not be one once people Gear Up.

Bear in mind I don't war and am in no way an expert on the ins-and-outs of CoC.

Someone mentioned YouTubers hyping this. I was thinking the same thing. Guess free trips to Finland is all it takes to buy ppl off. You'd think some would have the stones to tell SC "hey guys this is junk"

I mean, REALLY?

After such an amazing update, you still whine? What the hell do you want? Seriously, what the hell do you want???
You cry about new TH level, they add it, along with a new hero, new defense and a bunch of new content and you cry, "It's only for high level players", "How creative, more ways to spend gems and earn money" etc etc.
You ask for gem collectors, night mode, they add it - and here you cry again, "Oh look, more ways to spend gems and take our money", "A new village? I wanted something to do with my old one!".
And this happens after every single update. These are just some examples I can think of.

Just. STOP.

For God's sake, what is wrong with you? Supercell has given you soo many things that you ask for, and still, so many people crying.

This update is for high level players, low level players, for everyone. Yeah, it does mean we have to start over - but why is that a bad thing??
First of all, it's something else to do. You can be a farmer in one village, and a pusher in the other.
You can battle in one village while the troops are training in the other.
Not to mention the new mechanics in the new village, with the new defenses and traps.

As they said, it's HUGE, and hell yeah, it's a 15/10 in my opinion.

And no, I'm not a th6 who is excited to start all over where I can be among the stronger players.
This game became stale for me, and some problems, like what to do while waiting for troops, or when there's nothing left to upgrade besides the walls, which is a never ending grind and makes you bored, were all addressed in this update.

So please, get the hell out, stop whining, and don't forget to leave all your collectors and mines outside.

Since obviously nothing will ever satisfy you.

This! It's not perfect but it's pretty good! Most of the complaints are the max th11s. You got content. You just have to update the builder village to get it. I don't see how that's bad. I'm a nearly max th10 (40/40 heros) and I've been doing queen walks for walls for so long I can't stand it! It's nice to have something else to do to get new content!

This update is fun for youtubers, who can spend gems!
I checked some yt videos and most of them had over 40k gems (powerbang, galadon). How can a normal player enjoy this update? Boring!

Exactly. Yeah, I don't like a few things about it as well, but in the overall impression those things are insignificant.
I mean, just the new look of a base after 3 or more years I've played this game is soo great to see.

Yeah... you are absolutely right. Players have asked for a new game mode, we get the best update in coc history and of course the forums are flooded with complainers and hate. It's so annoying

I'm not even a close to max th9 and I hate it. Just when I thought ...Clash Royale... couldn't get any worse. lol
