Honestly saying much disappointed with the update as the majority over here are .... All my hard work in vain worked hard to collect gems just to get builders & now update is giving freshers gems via mines so that they can max out everything in few time & to takeover others well i was disappointed with gem events too but compromised with that & now gem mines as well hah! I would have loved spin & win wheel than gem mine .... In simple words in can say game is no more competitive now neither interesting.
does anybody know on what th of main village do we have possibility to unlock the second village?? what I mean is I can imagine how a newbee will be confused when he just starts a new game..... it takes much time to understand and get used to the gameplay of the original village, but you have to understand TWO game modes at once and build TWO villages???? for what purpose? will a newcomer understand?? or he will be shocked and leave the game as soon as he starts?! any idias?

The best thing about the update for me is..... As a leader of a 6 clan family of over 260+ players we have farming hero players who have maxed their base, we also have war heroes who are the stars of clan wars. Now with this new side project game which is growing on me we now all of a sudden have a new breed of players; these are the builder base specialists who weren't the stars of the show before but it's great to see these players who aren't usually the stars of the clan now being the stars of the clan by advice getting heavily involved with the new base and giving our leaders, farming and war enthusiastis strategic tips on their new base.
Basically this update has got everyone talking in my clans with alot of positive energy, the only downside if I'm going to have a moan is that my line chat has blown up with an astronomical amount of messages a day!
Secondly we've had some players come out of retirement rejoining us for this update and they seem to be enjoying it which is great to see. Looking forward to seeing where it goes and unlocking the double cannons on the main base!

Update has grown on, now I've made it to bh4 I can see it moving along no nicely.
does anyone know if the loot stacks in the same way star bonuses do? So if I don't play for two or three days will I have two loot sessions waiting?
A game in the game? With the look and feel of an unfinished and childish Castle clash . With a game play that is totally different from the game we signed up for ..... and best of all we are forced to do that in order to keep main Base up to date.....
Lots of stuff has been said .... plz keep abandoned Base of players with multiple accounts in the game for farming !!!!
PLZ tell us what's happening in terms of war weight to bases that didn't click the annoying arrow....... BTW low war weight bases hasn't been adressed at all in the overwhelming update......

To be fair to SC I waited a few days to form an opinion on the new update so here goes.
First of all, anyone who has read my posts know that I'm not a big fan of how SC manages the game. It still is in desperate need of offense and variety and as far as I'm concerned it's inexcusable that they didn't give us something new for max th11. My main base is sitting totally stagnant because I have nothing to do.
I can't push because clouds are ridiculous and my real life doesn't allow for me to sit on my device for hours at a time waiting for a base.
Nothing left to farm but the new spells and I can get elixir making only 1 or 2 attacks per day.
War is a total bore. Just a bunch of 2 stars with no ground variety or strategy to speak of.
Now to the builder base....I really like it. Everyone is complaining about starting from scratch and grinding a new base, but the beauty of this is that you don't need to grind. Just make a few attacks per day, then spend a bit of time gaining trophys for more loot.
I've gotten quite a few 3* so it's more exciting than watching max th11 offenses struggle against max defenses. I also like the pretty much instant attacking and PVP element (althought I'd like to be able to watch the other attack live if I finish first).
We do need something for our main base but I think this is kind of fun. And basically that's what I want out of this game.....some fun.
I agree with this entirely. I just quit my 4+ yr clan due to this update. I personally kept a Facebook page and ppl interested for years. My interest is completely shot.
