Unable to fill orders!

How are we expected to fill boat orders that require lobsters when the lobster pots and pool are not even done building?! I did the upgrade and immediately started building the new stuff! Now I only have 5 hours left on my boat with absolutely NO CHANCE of filling the orders! Yet I have had the candy machine for a few weeks now and have never had to use it to fill a boat order!!!

I agree. I think the guy who coded the program for the boats to ask for lobster stuff jumped the gun. I was lucky in that until this morning my boats didn't ask for lobster soup but my next one does. I had Tom already when the update started and I let him get some lobster on his final trip . I couldn't ask for soup because I hadn't leveled up yet. Of course now in addition to all my friends asking for white sugar and cream which I can't hold onto for toffee, I had friends asking for soup. Can't do my boats, can't help anyone else either.
Can't shop cause the screen keeps freezing.
and there is nothing good on TV.

Heavy sigh....Guess it's back to wheating for the Tiggerr.

Completely off topic. Does anyone else find that sometimes when you hit the return key on the ipad that you get a "p" instead?

I don't think they ask for candy on boat orders, can you imagine, 4 chocolate bars at 20 hours each?! (But you can get good XP for goods on truck orders)

May I just ask a question? I cannot comprehend why people wouldn't just cast funny boats off? Instead, I see neighbouring boats for entire 16 or more hours with crazy requests for sugar and cream - or fish soup. You can wait for the announced boat, cast it off and see what the next boat wants. If you are unlucky, you will cast off boats for one entire day, but I think that is still better than the frustration when crates dont get filled.

The one who really has too many diamonds can also call boats in earlier (5 gems) and then cast off and repeat until you get a boat to your liking.

Why are so few people casting boats off but too many believing, their neighbours could maybe fill 106 crates of sugar, cream and fish soup?

this is an honest question, I truly dont understand the fun of being stuck with sugar boats.

Yes, I have visited many farms asking for 3 crates of cream or sugar to be filled and have assumed they don't realise that you can send boats off empty when they arrive. I didn't know until I discovered this forum and read about it then, and I was at quite a high level then!

I would assume the same thing except that most of my friends are FROM this forum, so I thought maybe they were just keeping the sugar/dairy boats to get the double vouchers. It only took me like 10 mins on the forum the first time to figure out that you can cast off boats (and that if you do keep a sugar/dairy boat, many neighbors won't help fill it)...

The farms I've found are either in DD or followers who I don't think are on the forum, but, actually, a few are through GC so I'm unsure

What amazes me the most is that many high levels daily ask for sugar, I personally got fed up with those requests the third day after having repaired the dock and simply googled for a solution. There are really good instructions on youtube how to cast boats off - and on this forum of course

Anyway, am hoping for my first tomato soup boat, am ready for it now
