Uh oh! Lobsters stuck in pot while its upgrading!

Probably not making more regular nets either. It doesn't take that long to catch 3-4 fish. Seems like someone wasn't thinking very well when they came up with those times. i think net times are more ridiculous than the lobster times which are a bit much too.

I thought about this too and it didn't make any sense to me... but then I thought of it in another way.

I think we can all agree that pretty much all the people who frequent this forum are die hard players. We play the game every free second we can.

But, there is probably another type of player.. the one who doesn't play the game but maybe once or twice a night. So, for them the fish net might not be a bad idea. If they only check in once every 24 hours or so, then they will get 3 pieces of fish at one time.

So maybe the developers were thinking about that player when they came up with the idea.

...and then pull a truck order for... Hold onto your little blue hat... 147 pennies and 239 stars for 11 lobster tails!!! Yup you heard right folks 11 tails! O.O

Yes stats probably revealed players like me who don't have time to fish but need fillet for product. The whole fishing net deal taking a long time is no problem for me.

...my lobster tank only holds one lobster and it looks like it takes 45000 coins AND a lobster to upgrade it. maybe I'm wrong but thats what it looks like when i press on that green arrow with the yellow plus sign. so whoever it was who was worrying about trapping your lobster, I'd be more worried that he would be gone when it finishes.

That just means that the upgrade holds one additional lobster. 45,000 = 1 lobster. It doesn't cost a lobster so no worries there.

Also, posts from folks who've upgraded while lobsters were still in the pot have reported that the lobsters are alive and ready with tails to harvest when the upgrade finishes so no loss worries there either.

That's the way to do it - at night while you're snoozing away and dreaming of your farm. Also, I do all my long term production overnight and reap the rewards in the morning. I do that for the lobsters now too. I've always set up my machines for the longest and most time consuming products at night before I go to bed. My man laughs at me because he's asking when I'm coming to bed and my reply is "I'm just setting up my farm for the night". LOL. He shakes his head because these computer animals take more time to look after than my real animals.
