Uh oh! Lobsters stuck in pot while its upgrading!

Uh oh! I got the brilliant idea to expand the lobster pot without taking into consideration there were 2 lobsters in it. Swoosh goes the cover over the pot with Moe and Joe happily swimming around in there. So do I have to wait till the update is done before I can get the lobster tails? Great planning on my part. Sigh.

Any info on how the fishing net works?

    Hi Besta

So I just unveiled my Net maker and Lobster pool

The net maker came with what I think was called a master net, something that takes 5 diamonds to make from now on, just so people know. (Smart on the devs part...give us 5 diamonds in locked toolboxes and now we have something to spend those on)

I cast the net and it will be 22 hours (or was it 21?) before I can go back and collect my reward.

So, do you have any insight into how many fish filets the net will produce? I wonder if its random, like how when you mine it's different each time?

i started making my free lobster net, which will be available in 1.5 hours, just like the red worm.

Do we get 1 lobster per net? And do we put that net in a fishing spot and after you get the lobster, it's just like fishing, you gotta wait the required time period before you can fish there again?

That would definitely make people want to open up more fishing spots. Because now you have more products to make but need the same area for both fish and lobsters.

I guess people will be holding onto their LEMs again! LOL

We are all gonna need some fairy godmother help.

So, who can give us some insight into how it all works? Enquiring minds want to know!

My net got me 3 fillets and a silo board. The lobster nets give you one lobster and you do put it in the fishing area. Yes your fish area is then in a holding pattern till the lobster time including the down time is up. I'm not sure on times but it did take all day. LOL

So, with the master net you have to wait almost a full day before you can collect.

Which means it has put that fishing spot out of commission for a whole day, plus the time it takes to reset. (Glad I put it in one of the 2 hour spots)

Question: after you cast a lobster net, how long do you have to wait before you can go back and collect the lobster?

    Sorry to be a pain...

So, let me see if I understand this...

After you cast the net you have to wait 6 hours to collect from net, then it's another 6 hours for them to cook in the pool?

That means you have to wait 12 hours before you even have I lobster tail to make some soup?

    Fishing nets take 21 hours

Lobsters take 6 hours to catch and then 6 hours to cook. Nets take 21 hours to catch fish. They do not produce fillets as far as I can tell. So far I've done three nets. One was the mystery fishing net which yielded 3 copper red horses and a panel. The second regular net yielded two copper red horses. The third net yielded three copper red horses. If the nets actually produced fillets, they might be worth the 4 hours it takes to make a net. But they only produce fish which I can catch with a lure in much less time. If they yielded something other than copper red horses, they might be worth the wait. As it stands, I'm thinking that the only thing I will be casting out is lobster cages and lures. No thanks on the nets.

    Lobster net production

So I used diamonds to rush the pot and just survived a bug that kept closing the program anytime I tried to fish...but it doesn't say how to make the nets! I click on the pot and it shows me a grey picture of a net. That's it. The only other option is to upgrade the pot. So please excuse the dumb question but how do you make the stupid nets.

Did you purchase the net maker? It would be right above the lobster pot if you did. It is ANOTHER machine.

Think I'm being stupid, but don't the copper reds become fillets in your barn? Sorry, I don't understand
