They must want to check the consistency of it working on a widespread basis before implementing it full scale. Better to deal with any issues or bugs on a smaller scale.

I was thinking the same thing. But I refuse to buy them if they are so easily lost. I keep all I can in the house and fish book. I have deliberately not made lures with vouchers until I need a diamond. When I get 8-10 saved up I release some from my house or make some colored lures and spend them immediately on Tom or more production slots. That way the most I can lose is a few. And since I have in app purchases turned off, I get the notice that I need to turn it on frequently meaning if I had any diamonds they would be gone.

i am sure I am not the only one who won't buy them until a confirmation button is available. Without it, it is like putting money in a pocket you know has a huge hole in it. Stupid!

SC has been saying the movie ticket is in test mode for how long now? I've always had the movie ticket but it's not fair that others don't get it.

I'm sure the bottom line is part of the reason. However, they are a business and business MUST make a profit or they won't be in business for long.

Unpronouncable-named player jokingly remarked that they make 1,300,000/day and is correct that this likely upped their profit margin temporarily. However, many folks post about their profit in a very angry way as if every penny goes into their individual pockets to be spent on gold toilet fixtures. I keep seeing posts around here of how much they make each day...and that price miracilously grows by the hour...first it's 20,000/day, than it's, 130,000/day, than 1,200,000/day. I only wish my spouses salary could grow like that...we'd be owning our own yacht by days end. LOL

Folks also don't think beyond those dollar signs; it's not like this is all profit...at least 80, if not 90 percent of the income goes for salaries, research, development, marketing, fees, permits, licenses, rental space, furniture, office equipment, utility bills, health insurance coverage for employees, taxes, production, computers, servers, repair and maintenance costs, animation and other software, and way too many other expenses to list here. Most of what is left goes to shareholders. If the little bit left over ends up in their pockets, well, they've earned it.

I'm personally confident that folks are chosen completely at random and Kendra's post confirms that. As she said, we'll all get that the confirmation button when SC feels it's ready.

As for the movie tickets, it rotates. I never saw a thing for months, than suddenly won the raffle in the last update. I'm honestly surprised I still have it...thought for sure it would be gone with this update.

I agree that it's not fair that some have it but not others. My own opinion is that they may very well decide to keep this as a rotating perk. Something for folks to hope for, be elated when they get, take advantage of the boost it gives, then hope to get it again once it's gone. After all, one of the best things about the game is the randomness and the thrill when we hit the jackpot on the wheel, find diamonds in a tool box, get diamonds from Tom's balloon, find 10 bolts (or 20 tapes as I did once) on the DD. Those unexpected bursts of excitement keep the game alive and keep us addicted for what reward may happen next.

Therefore, I'm not holding my breath for this to be a permanent thing like I am for the confirmation button, but I am grateful for however long I have it.

I know this is only tangentially related to the topic, but the Movie ticket test came up, and I wanted to remind anyone who DOES get the tickets to click on the AD after its done playing, even if you aren't interested in downloading the app.

Click the ad, close your iTunes, or whatever and THEN go back to HayDay to get your diamond. Advertisers keep track of metrics like that, how many people watch the ad, how many people click the ad, etc. The more successful the ad, the more likely EVERYONE will get a chance to get the movie tickets.

I have the confirmation button, has already saved me 30 plus diamonds. You tap it once then a blue mark comes up by the diamond purchase thing, and it says tap again to confirm your purchase..if you do not confirm you do not lose diamonds.

Ok, so I clicked on the smelter to produce a diamond ring. And I was asked to confirm that I wanted to use the diamond to make the ring. Ive not had that option before. Which is great. Although if I try to speed up corn lets say, I don't get the same confirmation choice. Which I discovered when I tried to see if I had, and lost 1 diamond, which is no big deal as it was my choice to try it, and this this time, I lost lol.
