What spells do you normally carry? 3 x lightning and 2 x rage?

I noticed you're using 2 or 3 sometimes per battle. Do you gem them before battle?

Id like to carry 2 light 2 rage 1 freeze, but i dont have my freeze spell upgraded enough to be useful enough yet, so ive switched back to using 2 rage 3 lightning, then just using them as and when i need to.

I think i boosted spells once last night but thats about it, and it wasnt actually needed as the next 3 raids or something i didnt use any anyway, but its nice having them there. its totally worth using a couple lightning spells at the end of a raid to get that last 2-3 percent for the 75/75/400 bonus i get for a win.

I used 14 spells in 12 raids, practically 1 a raid on average.

How many were abandoned bases (empty x-bows / inferno towers)?

I was hunting around 2,600 with balloons / minions a few days ago (currently Crystal 1 and around 2,500). For me it all depended on the time of day. During the day I would find a lot of full collectors where I could send in balloons as shields while the minions emptied the collectors / outside buildings. I could normally get 50% on these (without spells if the x-bows were empty). However during the evenings there were no inactive bases and it was a lot harder as having to penetrate into the base for storages and also trying to get 50% (spells and sometimes AQ required for 50%).

How many searches was it taking you to find 3k+ DE? During my evenings these were rare around 2,600 trophies.

My biggest problem is, as a TH9 (1 x-bow and no inferno towers), I have zero chance of winning on defence so plummet quickly when not able to stay online winning trophies. Otherwise i'd love to stay up here doing what you're doing.

The 2 big ones were inactives, rest were th10 bases (usually maxed) that had 3k+ DE available. normally takes around 10-20 searchs to find a base worth over 3k, then i just have to find a way to get it all and a win.
