I think it should, if they are afraid of it getting h@cked, make it a server sided game just like it is on the iDevices!

obviously the idea would be possible but that would cause delay in any future up dates to the current app.
if you can image having to recode the whole app and convert to a PC that would take a long time, and converting it to windows would be their last option because every update they make greedy little Microsoft likes to "debug" the game and they hold on to it. oh but that is not all, just to let them hold on to it for the debug. The company (in this case Supercell) would have to spend 20,000 dollars on every update they make to the game, just for "debugging"(and if you didn't know Microsoft does not ever debug a game, example Minecraft for xbox360 has so many bugs).
so basicly i dont think they would go with Microsoft for any reason. IT COST TO MUCH TO DO.
Then how come plants vs zombies is for ds, xbox360, ipad, ipod, iphone, facebook, pc, andriod, and several more, all coming out within a 1.5 years of each other?
obviously that game can support its self
do you not understand. 20,000 dollars fore every update they make..
here is a math problem.
what is 5 updates times 20,000 dollars.
100,000 dollars.
now say you have in stead of 5 up dates now you had 20 updates
20 times 20,000=400,000
this game cannot be supported when it only has a small amount of income from resource payments. its not only just 20,000 but you got to add the workers who help build the program. it just wont add up. they would lose money.
You know how Xbox gets companies to only publish on there console and maybe PC? Like Halo and Gears of War? Well if you understand why they do that then problem solved, have a nice life.
Yes, but popcap is working on at least 5 different NEW games right now, not including ones for updates, possibly also a 3d game. And also, the top player, I believe, Jorge Yao, has spent over 2500 USD, and that was last year too!
Supercell make too much money anyway...
