Hello farmers!I've noticed some interest on the forum regarding adding emojis to farm names. I'm creating a new thread simply for ease in searching. This method only works for iOS users.
Go to convert-emoji.com
1. In the long rectangular box that says "create emoji text," type in what you want your new farm name to be, along with the emoji. Be sure to select the emoji from the convert-emoji site (not from your own keyboard).
2. Tap the "create emoji text" button.
3. You will see, "You're a Star! Congrats...". Tap the top box underneath that. Put your finger on the text and highlight the entire name in blue. Tap "Copy."
4. Leave this site and go to your device "Settings." Scroll down to "General." Tap on it and scroll down to "Keyboard." On the next page, scroll down to "Text Replacement." Tap on it; then on the next page, tap the + sign at the top right corner.
5. In the Phrase box, put your finger in the space and "Paste." Your new farm name should appear.
6. In the "Shortcut" space, type in a brief shortcut for your farm name, but be sure the letters don't spell a common word; otherwise, your farm name will pop up every time you type in that word. In the top right corner, hit "Save."
7. Leave Settings and go to your farm. Tap the cogwheel in the top left corner. Tap "Change farm name." Erase current farm name, type in shortcut, and tap the space bar. Voila and Ta-dahhhh! Tap the green check mark and you're done!
