Requirements

  • TH5-TH8 (However, if you feel that you would be a great contribution, we will not shun you for being a lower/higher TH level! We are more than willing to help train you, level your base up with troop donations, and coach you along the way - BUT, we need more war-ready members!) We are currently very heavy in TH9's with 1-2 TH10's. We currently war with 1-2 TH10's, 4-5 TH9's, 2-3 TH8's, and a couple of 6's or 7's at the bottom as needed. We'd like to expand our roster to 15v15 again, and then onwards to 20v20, but we need more TH5's, TH6's, TH7's, and TH8's to fill up the bottom of our roster!
  • Be active. We aren't asking you to watch clan chat 24/7, but we also want you to participate, or at least let us know that you are there! Request troops, donate troops, ask for help, etc.!
  • Be loyal. Help out within the clan. Donate troops even if you don't have super high level troops (unless specifically requested for a clan war attack).
  • Have fun. Don't be discouraged with poor performance or a lack of activity. This is just a game and we are just here to have fun. We all have a bad day and we all bounce back!

BrooklynRippers
Our clan is named after Al Capone's original gang from the early 1900's. The clan was formed at the beginning of 2016 by a group of friends that were part of a level 10 clan and wanted to branch off to embrace newer challenges, especially that of starting up a brand new clan from the ground up. We are all mature adults, mostly 21 and older, with full-time jobs, school responsibilities, and varying shifts of work/daily lifestyles (so, there are always a couple of people on at all hours of the day). Most of the originals are still around over a year later!!!

Clan Location
About half of our current members are in the US, and the other half of our current members are in the UK, with a few in the Philippines as well. This clan mostly speaks English, but there is sometimes a bit of Tagalog dialogue going around as well. Feel free to join regardless of the language spoken, but don't feel discouraged to join just because of Tagalog!

War Frequency
We are pretty much warring non-stop, actively seeking out the next match-up as soon as a war ends - this adds up to about 3 wars a week, even though CoC doesn't let us pick "Three times a week". We also try our best to start up a war right around 9am-12pm US time, which would be right around 9pm-12am Philippines time, so that all members have ample opportunity to attack regardless of geographic location.

Communication
We do use the free GroupMe app to communicate outside of CoC. It is not mandatory to install the app and connect with us but the option is available! It helps us to stay in touch and post links, talk strategy, and efficiently plan war attacks outside of CoC chat. We might try the free Band app in the future if enough members are wanting to continue using an app outside of CoC chat. Once you join, feel free to ask inside clan chat for info on how to connect with us!

Rules

  • Be active in every war. If you are selected for a war, please follow instructions from the Leader or the Co-Leaders. If you do not want to be in a war, please let us know in advance - we are all very understanding!
  • Be mature, don't cause trouble. We are all adults, and we won't frown at the occasional f-bomb, GDI's, or OH SH--'s, but always be at the very least, respectful of others.
  • Follow war instructions. This is important. We try to strategically attack to maximize our star gains, so please follow the instructions given by the Leader or the Co-Leaders. We will send out a clan mail during preparation day and help coordinate clean-up attacks afterwards.
  • Don't ask for Elder, or Co-Leader. Just don't. It doesn't mean anything, you won't get a box of cookies, or a kitten wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket for getting Elder or Co-Leader status. It is earned by being loyal, helpful, and just by participating on a daily basis, even if we are not warring.
  • New members must wait 1 war. We ask that new members patiently wait 1 war before being placed into a line-up. We have been plagued with war hoppers lately that are leaving the clan after preparation day starts. This is the least we can do to try and protect our loyal members that are being stretched thin with having to cover for dummy bases on top of their own attacks.

Please put one of the leader's or co-leader's name in the information box or at least put that you are coming from the Supercell forums so that we know to accept your request for an invitation (Dr. Otin, TheBeanCounter, oloap, xSHIFTxNASTYx, HM26, Splinter, Dynamo D, or TurkUsh). We don't accept random requests to join during war preparation/battle day. You can also send me a message on the Supercell forums at the same time and I'll be sure to check in-game clan chat for the invitation request. We hope to see you joining up with us soon!
