TH8 - Trophy Push (Masters)

Congrats buddy, nice thread. I'm on TH8 too, almost maxed out. I'm also on the road to Masters but it's been very hard. I currently have 2464 Trophies. Any tips for the last 100 trophies to get Masters?

Cheers bro, nice to see other high level TH8s trying for masters! I too got stuck in Crystal 1 for a week or so and almost gave up pushing.

I presume you've also been using the gowipe strategy? As a general rule, always attack a TH9 (even if it is maxed) or an abandoned base. People tend to surround the Town Hall with xbows and infernos, so when they're down, there's really not much stopping you from storming in

Losing a raid can be frustrating, but don't let it get to you. Take a break from attacking for a while should this happen, or you'll find you won't be fully focussed on the raid (leading to more losses).

Patience is key... Sometimes I spent upwards of 100k searching for a base I was confident in taking on.

Nice and impressive! But those revenges looked so harsh.

Haha a lot of them were overkill, but they were still enjoyable to watch. By the end of it, I sort of just got used to getting flattened, so it became a matter of hoping it wouldn't be a revenge from someone much lower down.

I cant find you at clan Hyper City anymore, where did you move too?

I've moved back to Prelude, which is my "home" clan.

That's a good point.. Forgot to mention that. Most of the time I had a random mix of archers and wizards, which I used to help get the 2nd star.

Did you boost your spell factory? That would be a lot down time to wait for spells to finish per raid if you didn't.

Very impressive! Leader of our clan used similar ways to break into Masters too.

Seeing another at TH8 make it prove it is very possible. I've got one hell of a challenge in front of me when our next trophy push starts at the end of the month.

Last time I come very close to getting Crystal I but just couldn't quite breakthrough. I was a newer TH8 at the time however, many of my troops - and my hero are stronger now.

Congratulations.

Max I have achieved was 2100. I am doing another push, just entered crystal 3.

At the moment I am maxing all last 3 barracks as I am traveling for 1 week (perfect timing as I hate upgrading barracks). But I have few concerns with pushing at this stage:

1. I am almost maxed TH8 - all walls maxed - but i am intensively upgrading my defenses. Once my barracks are done I will have all 5 builders working on defenses. This means I will be 5 defenses short all the time. That would not help.

2. My high tier troops are not maxed. I am upgrading golems to 2 but healer, pekka and drags are still level 1. Heal spell is level 1 too. I would use GOWIPE and PEKKA lvl 3 would help.

3. I am always on full storages, including DE. That makes me a target of choice (TH9 can still get good loot from me even with penalties.

4. My base is not designed for trophies. easy 50% by picking building outside and really dont want to change my layout.

Do you think I should wait for the push. Maybe when all my defenses are maxed and working and while I wait for TH upgrade, so I try to go as high as I can during those 10 days?
