It can be insanely annoying when you have two insanely good mortars and you're opponent kills them with 4 lightning spells.
Also other buildings can be murdered or damaged highly with lightning spells.
There needs to be some sort of defense for the lightning spell.
What better than a lightning rod?!
A lightning rod can be built on top of all buildings. The mortar is a top facing defense so maybe have a large ring of metal around the top of the mortar at an elevated height! I believe that this will work excellently.
To add a bit of competitive edge, level one lightning rods can only dodge lvl 2 and lvl 1 lightning spells.
level two can dodge lvl 3 and below and so on.
Cost to build and upgrade (for one building)
Lvl 1- 15,000 gold
lvl 2- 35,000 gold
lvl 3- 70,000 gold
lvl 4- 100,000 gold
lvl 5- 500,000 gold
