Place spring traps next to T-junctions or in funnels. Place bombs next to collectors in sets of 2 or behind spring traps in the funnel. Place air bombs in the corner of your base so they can kill minions and they are evenly spread out. I dont use seeking air mines due to the cost of DE. But i put them in center of my base if i use them when cup hunting. Put big bombs next to storages or in the corners outside of your base when cup hunting to kill witches. I might not be an expert on these but this is how i use them.

Funnels are a kind of wall arrangement that simply does what it says. Best used against giants. Place a spring trap or two in the wall opening and watch the magic.
T junctions are single walls that connect two compartments. Destroying that wall will allow access to both compartments, and the giant ai is usually smart enough to target these, so best to protect those exposed t junctions.
Not an exact definition here, but If someone can give a better one then please do.

t-junction, however i dont suggest you, to use them, cause WB can open 2 compartments at once if they hit that wall.
