My idiotic friends :)

Hey guys i just started this thread to get your opinion. Are my friends complete idiots? I have, as advised by my clan, maxed my splash damage for th8. My friends, who are complete ninnies, tease me about this and say "its such a waste of money" and "why would you do that?" Also, my friends (jealous probably coz a my skills) seem to think that im lying about not spending money on here- "ha! Whatever!" Now I want your opinion- are my friends complete and utter dunderheads or should their (snorts) words of wisdom be listened to? Warning! I'll probably start raging if you say im in the wrong!

Lol. Definitely not messing with me they are just noobs. Like all of them are th9 (not premmies but still not the best) and they have lvl 4-5 mortars and 4 down wiz towers

Splash damage defences are the best thing to upgrade for sure. Does that mean you should max them out while leaving other defences lurking in the distance? No. You kind of have to keep a even balance. My balance seems to be keeping my splash damage 2 levels higher then other defences such as cannons, archers ect. Except for air defence. That's another big priority.

But yes, your friends are, how did you say it? "Dunderheads" haha

Just a few points:

1. Your friends are premature TH9's if their splash defenses are that low.
2. Your friends, by saying "it's a waste of money" are feeling the frustration of the loot penalty due to the fact that they are premature. Thus, it is their opinion that what little they manage to save, compared to you, is a waste.
3. Your friends shouldn't be concerned about your finances.
4. Your friends considering point defenses as a priority at TH9 is humorous. Why would eliminating a dozen troops, or much more, in a single shot be second to removing a single troop?
5. Be patient and max your TH8 base before moving on, you will soon surpass their bases this way.

Splash is important go for it but dont forget the other buildings too. Keep some reasonable level difference between them.

They don't raid often so they think you can never get that much gold so fast.

If you have level 4 and 5 mortars at th 9 you are premature.
