A vault in the early stages of TH8 is a bad idea in my opinion. Your defenses just aren't strong enough yet. I would suggest a base where all the storages are reasonably spread out. The nice thing about TH8 is that with 225 walls and all the defensive structures you have it becomes a lot harder to get all the storages. Junliang's pokeball is a really good one for early TH8. So if your against copying just look at bases like his for help. Flip's base also is a good design. Just remember, you've now become a viable option for TH9s and will likely get hit hard these first couple weeks regardless of your base design.
U cant protect every storage
It's hard to make vaults in th8 due to the way the base should be arranged. Spreading them out works better, but still is best at th9. Check my sig for an example.
