Should I upgrade th to lvl 8?

I am not sure weather to upgrade yet because there will be a loot penalty and I might lose more often. I also have a pretty strong base and have upgraded almost everything to the max. What should I do? image.jpg

Get the walls up. It is worth the extra week or two maxing em out.

Definetly not move on. The most important thing before moving to TH8 is walls at level 7. If you don't have walls at level 7 you will have to farm 45m extra just for the level 7 walls, and then 112m for the level 8 walls. Make a huge difference.

I made a thread at the same time as you about upgrading my Th to 9, however I have the opposite problem i.e. my walls are just about maxed now but half of my defence towers still have a level to go before max, my teslas are only level 2

All I can say is Level 8 walls are great, nobody ever brings enough wall breakers to do a proper job in looting my base, it only ever get smashed up badly by the full dragon attacks, which are as we all know rare.

So I'd have to say my walls have been almost as important as defence towers and you should get farming as much as you can to upgrade them before you get the loot penalty at Th8, cause that **** is expensive man.

Although saying that, don't farm too much and end up with the problem I am now faced with

I'd upgrade those walls to 7. Max your defenses too. I went to th8 with pink walls and that was hard to recover from. Of course that was a very long time ago.

Max barracks, teslas and AD at th7 while you can. I'm at TH8 and really regret i haven't maxxed barracks. While doing this, leave some gold for your walls. It will definitely save you some time at th8.

honestly, its all up to you, th7 is probably the best farming in the game, so if you wanna risk losing that I don't know. I went to th8 very less upgraded than you and im doing fine, all my defenses are maxed just working on level 8 walls....the loot at th8 is great though, just a bit easier to get at th7 because there is only 10% penalty towards th6's. If you really wanna upgrade i'd say do it, but just remember that farming those walls will be a lot easier at th7

Try to max everything. It will help later...
