Well, yea - I know pretty much everything about the update, but of course, I can't share much.

It's HUGE, it's coming "Soon" - looks like everything is on SCs schedule we've had for quite awhile now, and having played it quite a bit, I'm excited for it to come out.

The majority of the Youtube Videos out there I've seen explaining the update are just about all false. There are some very good posts in this rather large thread that are very close in 1/some/many points of the update, a few that are even right on.

Other than that, combined with what Lach has shared in the OP, you'll have to wait and see 8-)

don't give the date but atleast the week in which it will be coming I hav been waiting a long time for it

But yes, Twister is right. We are making some changes to the GASP badges soon, so I have been testing how badges will look with images. Couldn't pass up on trolling while testing

Yeah they dont publish in weekends. So Sat and Sun do not count. Mon-Fri only.

#1 - Wed 3rd - Initial release of the ship.
#2 - Fri 5th - Day 1: A New Me - Hog rider would call himself 'chas' - sounds similar to chess?
#3 - Mon 8th - Day 2: New friends - Chas mentioned 'new friends' could mean new troop: Skeletons? or maybe making new friends across sea and do battle together like clan alliances in new game mode.

Wed 10th - #4 - Sailing daily
Fri 12th - #5 - War Song
Mon 15th - #6 - Best Captain
Wed 17th - #7

How many active players have they lost? How many paying customers have they lost? Has this recent marketing campaign increased or decreased paying customers and by how much? How has this affected net profits?

I mean it's good from a general business perspective to have actual data rather than wild supposition, right?

Sure, maybe they'll see an increase in revenue in the short term due to a marketing campaign, but certainly not long term if they continue to disappoint.

And yes, you caught me!! I do NOT have SC's internal accounting files. I can tell you that they are currently 5th in the top grossing apps in the App Store. Yes that is impressive, but not anywhere near what they used to do. This would indicate a drop in revenue (or at least growth that is not at parity with their industry).

It is not a huge leap to suggest that a drop in revenue would mean a drop in active/paying players. If you disagree, find me the data that says otherwise, because I agree, 'wild suppositions' have no place here.
