I dont understand what is the point of having 'one and only' thread for this update and then merge all the spam in it.
Now we have a 850(8400 comments) pages of nothing at all, just speculation and random comments that make no sense. After this thread we know as much as we knew before it (excluding the Captain's log).

If they didn't merge them then there would be thousands of threads started everyday asking about the update.
