In fairness, the general sub forum has over 6,000 pages of threads. You can't expect people to memorise them all. If you make a new thread and don't reference what you're talking about then people are going to respond with bemusement.

Indeed. If any user trolled the way SC are doing, they'd be banned from the forum very quickly. I wish SC would stop treating the forum as if everyone here is 5 years old.

All keep saying it's massive. If it's massive..why can't we get to know a mini part of it ?
We are playing this game for years...and aren't getting access to any game development.

I have 0% idea why they don't have a community manager.
Why can't SC give hints on what's coming ?
Are they afraid of something unwanted might happen ?
Honestly...I am a web developer and I do release a sketch to my clients before I write the full code. Surely it helps them and me too...but SC are 10000 times bigger than me..
Maybe silence has played a key role in helping them reach where they are.

SC are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

They keep quiet. People complain. They keep us in the loop. People complain.

I don't see it as trolling. I see it as keeping us on our toes guessing. They are keeping the excitement up. It appears for obvious reasons. This update is seen by them as a game changer.

I am sure they will release what they can when they can. They are not dangling anything in front of us. They are keeping us in the loop whilst dropping hints here and there with word play.

Sure I'd like to know the sneak peeks, sure I'd like to know the update. But I am happy to follow this thread to pass the time whilst I wait.

isn't Sneak Peeks refer the sketch u're talking about? and do u release a sketch before making this sketch first? i don't think so...

releasing sneak peeks are not easy as we think it is first SC need to cross the finish line (that includes the initial testing, bug checking and many more in both android and ios) than they invites/inform/allow the content creators to make videos (specific i think) creating threads that makes sense and feel easy to understand the new contents/systems and yes, anything can be changed during this and they need to make sure everything goes smooth

btw, i don't know how do u deliver the sketch... do u release it before finishing ur project? or after? ***if u do it before the final project, than it's not the way SC deliver their sneak peeks in first place

The mods may be damned if they do and damned if they don't, but I don't agree regarding SC. They are just being annoying: obviously authorising a bunch of ship jokes, endless talk of "massive"-ness etc. Compare that with some of their other games. BB got or are getting heroes and this was trailed well in advance. SC told the community what they were working on and discussed it months in advance. It seems to only be CoC where SC have this policy of giving no information ever and just stirring the pot.
