Um, just because someone still have upgrades to be completed, doesn't mean they can't get bored when they pretty much been doing the same thing for the past 3 years. Especially when you’re at TH10 and upgrades take 2 weeks with people aren’t willing to gem their upgrades.

It takes 3 years to get to 21/37 TH10? Man, I've been playing the game wrong

I am pretty excited how they are doing this update. I know I Know, I have been maxed again for over a month, but it appears that they have created and then tested it last week or even longer with some good players in the community. Then adjust and tweak it this week to bring the community guys back out to either test further or create sneak peek videos. either way it is encouraging to know they are testing it with knowledgeable players.

More likely because he knew that starting this thread and even discussing the update would bring about endless threads that must be merged, endless negative speculation, endless insulting and other forum foolishness requiring more work for him than usual.

If that was why, alas, he was right.
