I'm thinking it could be more like Boom Beach task force ops. Different groups of villages for the clan to attack in an operation to gain clan XP and rewards. SC already has the core coding so it would be possible to port over to CoC. Reward amounts could be based clan size, op difficulty and amount of total destruction or star points achieved.

if ship is BIG THING of this update, and they already have it's core coding then i don't think it should take them this much tym :/

I think the sneak peeks could very wel begin this Monday. Of course I could be mistaken but it makes some sense. They added a "sneak peek radar" to this thread which says that the sneak peeks will not start this week. Of course, when they remove that sneak peek radar or they claim that they will post the sneak peeks later that week, then the surprise is gone. If they post the sneak peeks on a Monday however, they can simply post them without ever removing the sneak peek radar in advance.

They are clearly building up the hype by showing the new update to some selected YouTubers and by letting them comment on it. Of course it is not allowed for them to say anything about the content of the new update but SC could also have decided that these people were not allowed to even mention that they saw the new update. Also creating this thread helps to build the hype. Why would they already start building the hype if the update is far away? To me it would not make sense to create hype more then a week before you actually say something about the content. So I think we will see the sneak peaks starting on Monday and the update will be at the 8th or 9th of may.

How long was the hype for TH11/Eagle and before actual release (....) --
Days? Week? Months?

Well, there are considerable differences between CoC/BB elements and game play. So even if the core tech is available, a huge amount of coding would still need to be done to accommodate the differences in buildings, AI, troops etc. Easier said than done.

the update will be in 2nd week of next month as per Cam all youtubers have meeting between 5 to 13 at supercell headquarters... so all keep calm for a week... so this is my speculation agree or disagree its all upto u peeps

but the question being why would they call every youtuber when only cam, ash,Pb and gala are ones who still play coc ( or make videos about coc)

if they are planing to bring back some other youtubers from CR to CR like molt nick pat , won't those be creating update hype in there videos like cam pb galadon ash are doing ( well cam is actually not doing anything in terms of creating hype )
