^This sums up my feelings purrfectly.I'm not a fan. We used to have the ability to star-rate posts and that went sour. Now we have this facebooky 'reputation' thing.... honestly? This isn't supposed to be a popularity contest but an exchange of ideas. I have given some upvotes to some comments but frankly it's meaningless and childish.
Given the amount of, shall we say 'professional trolls' on here, the whole system becomes farcical. I have seen people make freshspawn accounts and then seek out mods and gasps and randomly down vote their comments. So yeah ... it's for kids if you ask me. It's not to be taken seriously nor does it bear any meaning to the quality of the post that got voted on.

Dont think we need the forums turning into REDDIT. People dont like your opinion then fine but no need for downvotes as everyone is entitled to their opinion. This then turns into people downvoting for the sake of it. Seems a bit silly, upvoting yeah sounds good.
