    Troop strategies for level 6-8 walls, tetras and wizard towers..

    As a newbie, I'm trying to figure out which troops work best against level 5-8 walls, and what is the counter to hydras and wizard towers?? Any help would be great. Thanks.

    By hydras, I'll assume you mean Teslas. In the assumption:

    If I'm dealing with a normal base (normal meaning that it has separated compartments, defenses not in the open, storages in the middle, etc.) I usually use Giants backed by Healers to take out the defenses. Especially for Wizard Towers, use Giants because they have lots of health and the Wizards can't do much against them if they are backed by Healers. For Teslas, I would say:

    On the outside or close to the outside of the base:

    Put some Archers or Barbarians, 10-20 and take them out.

    In the middle of the base:

    Just let the Giants take care of them.

    If Dark Elixir is available to you, I definitely suggest using the Hog Riders to take out heavily protected defenses as they can jump over walls.

    Barbs and Archers are enough for you now. save your dark elixir till you get higher up in trophies
