Apart from the training cost this is one of the better and more original ideas I've read so far. Even if this troop itself is not created the concept of troop that gains DPS as it looses HP is one used in many other games I feel it would fit well in to this one. Great idea!
No that's 90,000 to Research to it's max lvl, which is actually about the same amount as it takes to research the Golem to it's max lvl.
and yes I would love to see the concept even if they didn't take my idea exactly. And if you have suggestions on the training cost let me know, I'm open to ideas and I want to hear what you guys think.

I think this is a great idea. I think it is well balanced and would add more defense/attack strategies and make the game more fun. Since its damage already increases, I was wondering if rage spells would effect. Anyways, great idea.

lower the hitpoints a little bit and it sounds great.
I like the Hydra concept as a dark troop, saw another thread by thehobbityhobbits44 with this same concept, like your description as well and it's slight variation.
Going to add this version to my thread "so you wanna make a new troop" so the 2 can be compared
so a lot of people like doing hydras, it seems like that is war wanted, but did anyone think that the hydra wold be best at dark barracks 9, like a dragon, having him too soon is a little op and unfair, just saying
Vampire -- Tidelementalist -- Branshee -- Rally Point--so you wanna make a new troop
so you wanna make a new defense

Basically have it like a dark ground dragon, I think that's a cool idea most ppl would agree with.
Guess outta the 4 available slots left the hydra would definitely have a vote for one of those slots eh?
