I just got to TH8 April 7, 2017 and I am looking to get loot quick. I have not unlocked Pekka, Valks or Golems yet. With three AD Flying units are no good as my Troops are TH7 max. Any help would be great. Thank you for your time
I was just in your position a month ago just hit th8 struggling to get loot but this what I used
Be prepared to lose trophies especially when raiding maxed th8s
Have 2 healers 19/20 giants 10/12 wizards rest archers and 3 heal spells poison in cc and your own if available
This works for storages clustered together in the centre of the base or one side of a base
When you find a target look for the side where the exiler storages are then look at the defences try predit the path which your giants will take and make sure the path they take leads them past the elixir storages
Lure and kill cc obviously use double poison and just archers 10 should be enough if properly done
Ensure ADs are not in the way of of the storages if they are use heal spells til giants take out AD then drop healers
Deploy giants and immediately dtop rest of the archers at a maximum of 4 wizards to clear the buildings on that side
Then drop king to tank and rest of wizards behind the king and you should get 50/60 percent of base and most of the loot hope this helps
KingKelven04 I will try your plan and see if it works for me. Im upgrading giants to lvl 5 and they will be done around saturday 9:15 EST as they have 2 days and 7 hours at this time. I am looking to upgrade my DE storage and unlock either Valk or Pekka
You'll have a pretty hard time raiding as level 4 giants won't be much against th8 defenses and th7 and below won't provide much loot. Best possible option for you is to use few giants(as meat shields)+barch+BK till you have upgraded giants and wizards. Look for dead bases and outside collectors and storages. Hit outside th's to compensate for trophy loss. After giants and wizards become level 5 you'll easily be able to raid th8 bases. Also, before unlocking pekka, valk and golem upgrade your existing troops. Especially Dragon, wiz, hog as these will help you in looting and in war. Use the builder instead to upgrade defenses, most defensive structures in th8 upgrade more than once.
