When I posted this, I did this for fun only. To show how far this engineering has gone. This is the first time our clan has a fully upgraded TH11 enemy. (We have had TH11 opponents before but they were all engineered) I didn't mean to ask for strategies coz I became hopeless as soon as I saw the base. All I was thinking to do is hope that he doesn't change the base so that I could do some Queen walk attack and get a 50%. i would suggest you to use zapquake dragloon, possibly you will 2star him, btw matchmaking is based on overall clan score so other bases of clan got weaker opponents i think...

I think the OP is talking about roster engineering. What happens is that clans will bring in a couple of very low THs into the war along with strong bases at the top, usually maintaining a big TH gap between the low THs and the one right above them. The idea being to give up easy 3 stars at the bottom but gaining a weight advantage at the middle/top. This is made possible by the fact that match-making will try to find you an opponent based on the overall weight of the warring bases. Atleast it worked like that in the past and imo its a pretty good strategy too.
Ofcourse Im only guessing. Unless the OP uploads the screenshot of every base in the war we will not know.

Yeah..they've got 7 TH6 at the bottom to our 2.
I personally don't want to take low TH players so as not to get less clan xp after a war win and get fair matches but I have no choice. Most of the players in our clan are below max TH8s. They r bunch of school kids and friends of some TH9. I ask them to invite only high lvl players but they wont listen. I even kicked some players out but they would come back and request not to kick again. And idk why I always fail to invite players from the global and even if i get some to join us, they won't stick around for long. So to get the most out of this 3x clan xp event I had to take as many players as I could.

No amount of luck is going to save the OP. He got a bad match, it happens, and it's not fun. But this war is over. They will 3* all of your bases, and you will probably only 1* that base. Just gotta shake it off and move onto the next war.
Not true, you have no idea the strength of the other teams offensive skill, this war will be won mid map, only time will tell what side is victorious.

Agreed. We have won many wars where it looked like we had a disadvantage on paper, even when their super heavy #1 (or engineered #20) three starred our 1 and 2, and then they only 2 starred our 3-10.
OP, you stand a chance at taking down the 11 for 2* if there's a bad layout on it. However, repost the base for someone to help plan.
I would not recommend some of the strategies that have been recommended so far...
Also, regarding roster engineering, believe me, we, here at the forums, have seen worse.
