Why can't we sell scrolls. We can sell all other land expansion stuff but not the new scrolls. Seems to me when we have upgraded the new land we will be stuck with them. Can you please fix this problem.
thanks

If by scrolls you are referring to the permits, once you have gotten the amount needed to open land, you won't get anymore.

This is an intential decision by SuperCell, we have considered many reasons per the linked topic, which include:
*To delay progress, so every-player will be working on this for some time. Delayed gratification.
*To avoid them been sold/traded by other means. Every player has to earn them, no shortcuts.
*To encourage diamond spending, by shuffling derby rewards and using extra spins on the daily prize wheel.
*To avoid a repeat of the Map problems we have had in the past.
*They do not take up space in your barn, once you have collected all you need you cannot get anymore [not that anyone can confirm that yet]
It's quite a genius idea actually. No-one is really in desperate need to have that extra pocket of land now anyway.

I misunderstood the scarcity of the permits, so opened some expandable land up by my main farm instead of holding out! Huzzah for barn space!
well, SC isn't trying to delay progress. Not sure if you read the discussions or only post. I opened all of my "permitted" land by using diamonds to open red boxes. Also, flipping thru the DD the last few days, I've now seen hundreds of farms completely open. If a person is only opening a few "free" red boxes daily, it will be a lengthy process. However, if a person wants to expedite the process, they will find them quickly.
FYI: I got no permits in a FREE red box nor did I have any on my WoF.
Permits won't be the issue, it will be the LEMs. People will have permits long before they acquire the massive LEMs needed to open all of their new land.

I am not sure how those who have opened all land will stop getting them. I can imagine their not showing up in boxes or truck, but stop them as derby prizes? Seems an awful lit of micro management software

I may be in the minority here but I actually do think the permits thing is an ingenious idea and yes I do realise it will take me a while to unlock all the land which require them as will the new land needing lots of LEMs.
I was already playing Hay Day when land expansions and LEMs were introduced in the game. Obviously they were insanely scarce eat that point so I had to work hard to get my land expanded. (I play pretty casually and my level doesn't really reflect my years of playing)
Anyways I've also experienced long periods of time where LEMs were utterly useless to me and in those times they don't make for exciting prizes either in the derby, mid level rewards and event thresholds and such. Now I am looking out for them again. Not to mention Maps which were only useful for a short period of time and have been useless ever since. And no we shouldn't be getting more permits once we've unlocked all the land and that does solve an issue of not having stuff which is useless taking up barn space and is underwhelming to receive.
In addition I always had to work on my land expansions in times of them being scarce. While on the other hand high(er) level players have gotten spoiled a bit. Remember that boats get 12-17 hours on the clock to fill ? Remember a time having to make the item wait for it and fill the boat slowly ? Nowadays we are used to filling it on the spot or sending it off on its way. Little work etc.
Similar can be said for land. Some hoard hundreds of LEMs that when an update rolls out which provides it they'd unlock it instantly and be done again. Which is immediately followed by a "now what" question and shortly after the requests for more land start pouring in.
Also lots of players in the lvls 50 ish and up join hoods with higher levels and all those folks shower them in LEMs allowing them to expand super fast. Which is nice of course however they never get a real feeling for what the work would entail if they had to collect way more themselves or that everyone is expanding and the items are more scarce. So yes I do like permits can't be bought or sold now everyone will have to work for it and it will take some time.

Sorry don't agree Gertie I have hundreds of Excess LEM's and only 15 out of 59 permits - I just give away all my LEM's to hood mates.
Show us a snapshot of your opened farm please as I have never seen one
