I think I have a solution regarding being able to use Tom during my prep for TT3. It seems to me that items will stack at the machine until you try to make more. Then those items move to the barn. So, what if I leave space in my barn for the things I know I'll use Tom to bring. Then make sure that I have only one kind of thing to make at each machine. Since I have more than 5 slots at each machine, I can wait to pick up those items as I need them. Will this work?

Using Tom as part of your prep for TT can be done. In the way you've described. Just a new tricky step to the old barn dance. lol

But using him during the TT would not work so well.

Like Toushkalee said, If you have Tom now, by all means use him to get what you think you need, but it adds another aspect to the already exhausting barn dance. If you don't already have him hired, I wouldn't bother if I were you. I didn't use him and got through just fine by following the instructions in post # 3. I wasn't sure I even had the number suggested, i just stacked till i couldn't stack any more. Most people do it without even needing help from us, but like having us there just in case.

I know that Tom's goods have to go in the barn and i'd hate to see you have to sell something to make room for his stuff
