Any actually good TH8 trophy bases?

I've tried my own, Junliangs(farming version of pokeball is amazin though)
and pingfaos tesla theme park - all have failed above 1900.

    Any suggestions, designs etc?

    Thanks

PS, i got most building maxed out, only archer towers are level 9. Walls are purple,
few pinks ones yet to be upgraded

I took Pingfao th 9 to 2550 and junliag th 9 to 2710 - mostly level 8 walls. So I guess it must be the walls - although most of my trophies were in attack, the defense still achieved a net profit

Personally, I've found that any TH8 above about 2100 trophies, is going to get stomped on more often than not. Your wins will come, mostly, from the ineptitude of your raiders, rather than your design, because most of your raiders are trophy-hungry TH9 and TH10 with spells and troops to burn. Even I attack nearly every TH8 I find in Crystal (I'm TH8), because I know that it's pretty much a guaranteed win unless I really stuff up my attack...

My own base, not quite maxed TH8, is designed to just protect some loot, and prevent a 3-star loss; ideally, a 1-star loss is all good by me. Occasionally, I get a win, but unfortunately sometimes the raider isn't even compentent enough to get 40%, so the next raider gets to attack me without clan castle troops or traps in place.

Focus on how to win trophies through good raiding, would be my advice, and just tweak your base design as you go along.

    Agreed.

While design helps, a TH8 in Crystal or higher is going to struggle no matter how you lay out the few defenses etc you have. Against armies 220 strong - or worse 240 strong featuring lv 6 troops, max dragons, max golems, max PEKKAs, max Wizards, max Witches [hell even max Hoggies now...]...you will struggle no matter what you design.

I do however find an original design is better, popular pokepark designs have been attacked so many times it's not funny. Players higher on the trophy tree know exactly how to break them without too much hassle - they have done it countless times before.

Just try something original, and keep tweaking out the weaknesses. So much more satisfying then been a copycat. Good luck.
