hi guys! So in 7 days I'll be at th9. I want to keep my war weight low (th8.5) until I can consistently 3 star th9's with x-bows, which is when I hope to get x-bows on my base. I'm also interested in learning air attacks for war, probably something like laloon. It would be awesome if someone could help me out with a basic upgrade guide for me that keeps my war weight low and helps me practice air attacks asap once I hit th9. Thanks!!
what i did was maxed everything at th8 def and troops as well and once u reach th9 go ahead and drop the hidden traps and max those dont buy 4th tesla yet instead upgrade the other 3 no new walls or other buildings yes at first ull be an easy target easy 3 stars but th8 cant and once ur troops start coming along and u can easily 3star higher up in rank then add walls 2nd air sweep either 4th ad or tesla or hell both depends on ur gameplay this is from my exp. and it worked great for me hope it helps
also would help in a big way to have full storages and atleast 62500 for AQ and her first upgrade and have king at 10 that way u can focus on ur queen and if u follow this route u can also work on walls in between upgrades i usually try to keep them the same. as far as trophies goes i stay in gold sometimes pickings are slim but war loot is a constant flow. remember going this route benefits in war u will always get trashed outside of that its why i mentioned trophies. feel free to add me in game #QY2YOUOU or my clan Prime Evil Code be happy to have u

Okay so I havent farmed in a while, but a month ago when my mini went to th9, I remember mid to low gold league having plenty of dead bases. Just barch away down there.
If you like to war, Id focus on getting laloon maxed right away, as it doesnt require beg heroes to triple. Im no expert on war weight, but Id recommend not getting xbows right away, atleast until your queen has caught your king. Focus on your offense and try to max camps asap.
If you dont care about war, upgrade your defenses how you want, and get farming troops (barch/gibarch) done and then rest of troops in any order you like. Still would reccommend maxing camps and spell factory and cc quick because extra space is always useful.

With addition to what others have said i would suggest you to do add that last AD even though you can keep it at lv1 if you want it to be. Reason being if you are paired against TH9 in war mirror then that TH9 can easily take down 2 of AD's and then and easy 3*. Why not make it a little hard but having 1 more AD. Dont think i would affect the war weight too much

Upgrade cc, AQ, lab, camps, anything else with elixir
beyond that war farm have different priorities
for war if you get L2 hounds, L6 loons, L6 lightning and L2 haste you can queen pop 85% of bases for 3 stars

Cc,both spell factories, camps,lab are always important... after some days of being th9,focus on ur both heros..and if u are war player,upgrade loon and lava in lab and u are good to go
Well, then i was getting TH9 on my main, it was a LONG time ago, so this might not stand anymore, but i advise u opt out of war, get all the stuff u need, like ur extra pumps, defences and ur archer queen.
Then u have got all the stuff up to a decent lvl(at least TH8 standard) then start working on new troops.
Upgrade lab first obviously, before doing ANYTHING else.
Then, get ur new troops, Baby drag, Witch, Lava hound, new spells and AQ.
Get the AQ to lvl 5, then u can start waring again simple advise, but i cant rlly give anything more complex, as im in a hurry right now, cya
