Before inferno towers upgrade you could reach 4k, but now it's like 2,4-2,5, later it's too hard.....

my clan leader (arkturas) reached 2600 with a maxed TH8 using GoWiPe but if u put a good 3 months 2800 could be reached with dedication...and gems

Currently I am at 2,400 check me out in the clan Centum Testudo! I'm using a gowipe army almost everytime! I started at 1600 and in 5 days I reached 2,400! We have 2 more days left for the push so I'm trying to get to masters!

Technically you could go as high as you'd like, but anything over 2500 would be very impressive

Well, I would say the limit is around 2600 or less I guess if you don't hardcore gem. I personally got to 2406 with Dragon Baloon Minion and was about a week's worth of play. My defenses are nowhere maxed, and 2500-2600 I believe is very possible with GoWiPe

Champion is out of the question for sure; you might make it to masters with GoWiPe or a full-dragon army with rage spells.
