I've got enough lems for just one new piece of land & I can guarantee you , if I use them to open a none decorated plot , I'll win a flipping permit ����������.

Good decision. I didn't sit tight, and I got my permit just after I opened my regular piece of land.

Wow ~ new new permits and honest opinion on how we each play this great game hasn't half fuelled up this forum. We all Approach things differently and that's the beauty of the game.

I'm in no hurry to open the land, but would like to see a permit or two. I got one the second day from a red chest. I have yet to see any in my wof and I have none in the Derby thresholds this week. I'm seeing very few red chests anywhere and hardly any that actually open. If the drop rate remains at about 1 per week, and I think we need 50 or so permits, then I don't think a year to open land seems achieveable or fair? I like having something to work towards but feel 12 months more than a little ridiculous and tedious. I had thought maybe up to 6 months was going to be a realistic timescale and fun to do. I am (was?) really really pleased with the extra land but won't bother with the permit side - hey who am i kidding? Whether I'm bothered or not I can't actually open any anyway without the permits!!!

Quick update: I only had an hour to play today (until now), I opened every red box I found (using diamonds) & did get enough permits to open a 10 permit plot. So, permits are out here, just takes a mammoth amount of boxes to get one.

ETA: got to play for a couple hours tonight. Used diamonds & opened every red box I found. Only 3 plats requiring permits left to open. 10, 8 & 6. So relieved to get LEMs out of my barn.
