Red Boxes/Permits

5 permits so far - 1 from Derby threshold 4 from mystery boxes - 3 free one paid 3 diamonds

I found 2 permits in mystery boxes and one in wheel of fortune (which I could not get). When you click on the permit icon in an expansion area, it mentions you can get it from derby, wheel of fortune and mystery boxes. I guess those are the only 3 ways you can possibly get them.

I have yet to have permits on my WoF. However, after a few adult beverages last night, I got rather "loose" with diamond usage. I found enough to open two small plots. Quickly I planted bb bushes in my newly acquired land. They mask the remaining unopened areas. Now, I'll refrain from checking how many I have for a week or so. Like most, I opened the free land as soon as update was available. It was nice to get the LEMs out of my barn.

Box drop rate has been significantly reduced. I understand wanting to limit land permits, but they could have just tweaked the number of land permits that drop with boxes, not reduced the box drop rate overall.

Really? I hadn't noticed. Until needing permits, I haven't looked for or opened a red box in years. I'm most surprised most are locked.

Nope, we didn't change any such. We simply added permits and boosters to the mystery boxes. No other changes. It FEELS like they are fewer now since the need / search for one is up due to the new items.

i was thinking the same.
As previously stated, I don't recall finding locked boxes as much as I am now. But, I'm one that zips thru the ads quickly not pausing to search for boxes so I really don't know if it's normal for most to be locked.

Well, I sought & bought 20 red boxes & reneged on my earlier statement, lol. I checked my quantity & I had enough permits to open the plot with tree swing. Now, real life calls & im done playing for a couple of days.

Really? Sorry. ☹️ I used to find them so often. I have always looked for them because they sometimes had diamonds or upgrade items. So many times a day, their would be one in my horse area and in other areas, and so frequently in other farms. I get them rarely now.

Nope, we didn't change any such. We simply added permits and boosters to the mystery boxes. No other changes. It FEELS like they are fewer now since the need / search for one is up due to the new items.

hope you are sure of that, I used to find a red box in every farm I visited, today I found very few red boxes anywhere!
