Sometimes you want to post a pic to the forum, but the pic is enormous, and it stretches out the borders of your post, or a big chunk of the pic may get cut. Awkward situation all around.
One solution is to use an image editor to resize the pic beforehand. Kind of a nuisance. Some image hosting sites may offer image editing directly. But these features can be glitchy and they may not be available on mobile versions of the hosting app.
But despair not, there is another way. If you use imgur to host images, you can resize your pics, very simply,
by adding a letter to the image address.
How does it work? Tutorial Baboon will demonstrate. Say hello to Tutorial Baboon:
This pic of Tutorial Baboon in his super-prestigious executive office was uploaded at a pixel size of 1898 x 1034. That's massive and way too big for this forum.
Here's the address for the original image if you'd like to see for yourself:

However,
by adding a letter character before the period and suffix [_.jpg] to the image address, Tutorial Baboon altered the size at which the image was posted.
What letter options are we working with? It's just the first letter of the following size options:
huge
large
medium
small
So, for the Tutorial Baboon pic, you would add either "h" or "l" or "m" or "s" to the space indicated by
<_> in the image address:

Size examples:

MEDIUM:

SMALL:

No example for "huge" because it's too huge for this forum.

But, hopefully, you get the idea. Now, go forth and resize!
