So it's been a little while since I was here! The bears have been busy, lots and lots of bears are deep in the Volcano, creating new play areas and new places to discover. There have also been a few off at our Academy, learning how to be bold and daring warrior bears - Hanwyz is raising the standard there as I write. But we are about to have Challenge Wars! So they are dusting themselves off, Valin is putting on his kilt, Stormy is dusting off her high heels and Mavvy is cleaning off his tethers. Kletus has bought us all a new sofa and the plastic covering is still on it so that the lava residues can easily be wiped off at the same time as the cookie crumbs. Never mind, Dirtknapp will keep us all in shape. I am simply being good and sipping a little wine while listening joyfully to the pets fight with each other. All of it, ALL of it, is Bubba's fault.
I'll tell you more tomorrow if I can drag myself away from the lava pool - why don't you come and find out whats happening in our clan!
Bear Academy is getting stronger - 50/50 wars right now during the 'experience' event (that's fun). Soon we'll all be back in our homes for good. Well .... I say for good, but it might be quite naughty if Stormy's got anything to do with it.
Hmmmm, I just thought - Family Feud must be very, very soon ......
And sorry for not replying Summer .... no they are NOT shaped like goats, what on earth could you possibly be talking about?
Ok time for a bump - what do you think - are you going to come and check us out? I will be asleep, curled up with the pets. In the glow of the Volcano. In the family of my clan. Come and see us.
Cliffing (kicking) tonight - 9pm BST, 4pm EST - what will happen to those lazy bears who can't be bothered giving nice cookies and troops to their classmates?
Will the hellhound go hungry?
Will the dragon dance?
Dirtknapp will decide if we have a blood curdling carouse or a forgiving frolic. We shall see what happens later. Come and find out for yourselves.

Sumthin is Terrific! After seeing our recruitment post, he decided to pack his bags and hike to Bouvet Island, home of the Bear Family. He walked across continents, his Viking spirit of determination made sure his poor, aching paws kept going. As he got closer, he thought long about our Volcano and our warm welcome with mead, Doritos and fun in the lava pool. He remembered that we Clash on Fridays with our pants off. So he kept going, swimming the final distance with his weary limbs - one in front of the other, bit by bit.
Finally he arrived. He found the Volcano quickly and was enveloped into our bosoms. (Well, some of us have bosoms. Others not so much.) He has proven to be a worthy bear, generous and friendly and fun. Tomorrow, he will attend his first cliffing - a baptism of Fire! where he will watch the bad, bad bears thrown to Garm and Fafnir for snacks. They will be kicked over the edge of that volcanic cliff so fast you couldn't say Hail! in time.
Come and find us. Follow the pitter patter of bear paws. Wear your water wings to help you with the final swim. Or, alternatively do it the easy way and drop by using the clan tag in my signature. Remember to mention that it's Bubba's fault!
