Town hall 8 max out?

Hi, I was wondering if it is essential for max out TH 8 before going to 9. I have reasonably well upgraded defences (e.g. level 6 mortars, 2 lvl 5 wiz towers and 1 lvl 4, lvl 9 cannons 1 lvl 10, lvl 4 air def and all lvl 7 walls). I know im not ready to go to TH 9 but i was just wondering what the suggested level defences are. Thanks

Suggested defence levels:
Mortars lvl6
Wiz towers lvl6
AT: lvl9-10
Canons: lvl10
AD: at least lvl5
teslas: lvl4
walls lvl7 are good

with those defences you will have plenty of time to get him up, its not that important to max him out though

it is advised to max everything since you wii upgrade everything in the end and the loot is better on th8 than 9 and abviously 10... so take your time and enjoy the ride

you should really max things out everything I know you want xbows I want them to but you gotta wait the lees loot is gonna kill you

I agree with josemi121 - have a good look at your troops and spells, and make sure they are all maxed, or at least all the ones you think you'll want to be using at TH9... Chances are, you will have plenty of unfinished work there, which will take longer than maxing your defenses.
