In the same place where you uploaded your banner. There's a window where you can write text. Your banner appears as "SIGPIC", so don't delete it, but you can write above or below it. You can also center your banner if you like.
Maybe I'll add some text, too, I don't have any yet...
I don't have the elephant on my farm, so I thought I'll have it on my signature. with eyes.
