Thank you! I too am a picky base picker and I feel that there is no point in using a base unless it is completely perfect. Although mine does have it's flaws, I am glad that you enjoyed the presentation and base so much so that you will copy it and try it for yourself! Which I don't mind, and feel free to spread the word about it's results and possible success! Thank you
I'm disappointed in this forum. Nobody is giving any feedback except "thanks" or "awesome", when this base is far from perfect. The image below is my hopefully useful feedback.
Also, the TTP has the "useless walls" in the center to avoid the bad junctions your base suffers from. And your base exposes the top elixir in the same way as the pokeball, so ... yeah ... (plus who cares about elixir?)

I've watched your video and was s0 impressed with the base that I copied it ( two weeks ago maybe?). Out of the 40 defenses that are shown in my defensive log, only 4 times someone was able to get more than 50%. Most of the time people just snipe the TH and leave, leaving my storages alone. Really a good base (Well, I placed the outside buildings a lot different and have my God Storages in different places, but other than that I just copied your base). Thanks, man!

Hello gentimouton. I've got to be honest, couldn't help but laugh at how precise and ridiculous you are with certain details, which I in no way I am making fun of, just thought was interesting. I do agree with you. In no way is this base perfect, nor I am claiming it to be, I just simply wanted to create something that differed from the rest of the Town Hall 8 farming bases. I do agree that this thread needs to be challenged more.
I have used TTP and Pokeball in the past. Regarding your comment about the TTP, the flaw that i sighted was just simply what I've noticed throughout my defense replays using it, videos of replays, and comments I've gotten from past clan members. Little to no cases were seen where enemies even made it to that center core to even make use of those walls there. I just thought I'd better use those walls in this base. Again, just my opinion.
I am a little confused on what you are trying to express about the Elixir. On the left hand side of the screenshot you say that the elixir is 'too over protected' but in your post you ask whether elixir is important at all? I've replied to other comments stating this same thing and also a problem with a triangular air defense so I'll reply with the same thing to you. The elixir, air defense, and other buildings can easily be swapped around to form a triangular air defense while keeping your elixir somewhat protected. At the time, I was completely out of use of elixir. My lab upgrades were maxed as well as any elixir based upgrades. For the video I decided to keep those storages in because I thought people who weren't as maxed on their elixir like me would copy it. For the majority of the time using my base, I had my elixir storages on those outer, point defense walls.
That comment about the one sided pokeball rush pretty much referred to the gold aswell. Again, I wouldn't really mind attackers coming from that side to steal my elixir as I am getting too much of it anyway.
Regarding the improper T-Junctions, I realize they are there. With the video, I tried to demonstrate that clip where in most cases, wallbreakers would most likely not even make it to that area.
One thing that I haven't thought of that I found interesting was the: 'long streak of no collectors." This interested me. In most cases goblins would directly go after the storages, but wouldn't you agree that as long as the attacker were smart enough to clear the outside buildings they could do that from any side? I just used put those buildings close to each other as a convenience from building my army.
And than comes the criticism that I found just a slightly a bit ridiculous and funny, but I'm glad I am getting feedback at all! Firstly, in no way was I trying to make a "WW2" monument, or any signs of it trying to be done in the video or screenshots. The TTP also has a 'useless wall' and again, no base is perfect, so it is better to have an extra wall than a missing wall. I feel you are being a bit too critical about the "tesla w/o traps." It is clear that traps can obviously be put there, as shown throughout the video. Also, only 3 teslas are available at Town Hall 8 and that 4th, extra empty space is used just for symmetry like in both the TTP and Pokeball which have empty tesla spaces as well. These spaces are just used to give the attacker no clear and easy direction to attack, because each of them look and seem equally defended.
Thank you for your feedback and I hope I answered some questions you had about this base! I have based this response on my opinion and positive feedback I have gotten from others using it. Thank you for taking the time to highlight your issues with it!

"Destroy AT and cannon with arch, then WB on bad junction" and get access to 3 compartments, two of which you have just cleared. What's a point?

This is true as well. Some things just can't be unavoidable in a base.

Regarding the improper T-Junctions (yes, I care a lot about junctions), you say the wallbreakers rarely reach them? They are on the second layer of your layout... A good attacker will take advantage of them. Please don't use the 'oh, no wallbreakers will ever get to them' excuse. If everyone used that, what would be the point of staggering junctions? What would be the point in redesigning to remove the imperfections? I think your layout is good, but only a first draft. If you manage to come up with a redesign that addresses the junctions dilemma, then you will have a truly awesome layout on your hands. The point of posting a layout is to get criticism and use it to make changes, not to just refute every piece of advice so that your layout remains as perfect as possible in the eyes of other readers.

I could make a response like this to some other comments (except the WW2 thing, lol) but as I said earlier, I'm more of a junctions guy

Again, I still like the layout, but I really think you should address the junctions.

Welcome to the forums! And thank you! Glad your results are turning out positive and you are enjoying the base. Answering your questions, I feel wall upgrades are essential but that's just my opinion. Throughout my Clash of Clan's career, I have always fully maxed a base including walls simply because I want to enjoy and use the loot bonus from the Town Hall as much as possible. If you are not familiar with this loot bonus you are free to message me, look at the wiki, or find a thread about it. It is best to upgrade walls when you have a lot of free time (like summer), and work on defenses if you are busy and can only raise about a million gold/ elixir a day. If you are still confused I would most definitely upgrade defenses, then walls if you have the free time! Just my thoughts and experiences!
Thanks for the feedback mate! The base is coming along good. Not one person has managed to destroy my town hall in 25+ attacks! And im around 1600 trophies!
