I'm very happy with the bonus coin earning events. I can never seem to get coins built up. So this event is really good for me!

It's funny you mention this because I saw this for the absolute first time yesterday. I was flipping through the Daily Dirt for hours trying to find barn and silo expansion items and the only reason I noticed one user appear twice in the period of four hours was because the farm name looked familiar, the items being sold were the same (2x duct tape) and I instantly recognized both the farm layout and the farm name: "IA IA OH".
Said user is Level 15, but what is mind blowing are the following stats [see attached screenshot]:
Most truck deliveries (1 day): 20
Most player visits (1 day): 99582
Roadside shop max revenue (1 day): 3439
Follower count: 555
Likes count: 1378
Now, I'm not against Hay Day putting in bots or duplicating ads if the items being sold are worth it. Let's face it, we complain when we don't find BEMs, SEMs and LEMs in the Daily Dirt, but I'll be entirely honest with you, I ONLY sell these items when I have extras. And I think everyone does the same. So if there were a few fake accounts selling decent items like sugar, jams, etc... I'm all for it.
After all, it was thanks to IA IA OH that I got 4 tapes!
Hopefully in the future something can be done about these dead adverts that keep reappearing in the DD. It really is such an annoying thing to click on the advert and be taken to a dead farm and to see that I am the 99583rd player to get suckered into clicking on that dead advert.
Every time there is a new event everyone complains about the rehashed ads. I think we've all realized that people aren't selling because they are keeping all their product to use for the event. The higher level players complain that they don't need the coins so an event like this is not terribly helpful for them. So why aren't the higher level players still selling product at their roadside shops? If you don't need an event like this that gives extra coins, then you should still be selling your products as usual. The newspaper is full of rehashed ads because EVERYONE stops selling. I go through all my friends' shops and find they are all empty except maybe one or two out of like 50 friends. So those of you who are complaining about empty stalls, what do you have for sale in yours? How many ads did you place during the event? If you don't like the rehashed ads, then start advertising and selling. Then the newspaper won't have to be filled with rehashed ads. I don't like it either and I couldn't wait for the event to be over so the newspaper would get back to normal. The only way it's going to be normal though is when people start selling again and there are enough new ads to replace the rehashed ones. I think we, the players, have more control over the problem with the newspaper than we realize. Just my opinion.
Oddly, as a fairly new player, I didn't find the double coins all that helpful. I can almost always make more money selling the truck order products on my stand - even at double coins.
Regarding the newspaper, if they make it TOO easy to get stuff, no one will ever purchase the little boy. Remember in your comments that what is done with the paper affects the little boy, and therefore potential profit for the company.
Just a few minutes ago, I advertized wool at full price, which is usually a slow draw and almost always persists past the first ad cycle. Then I watched as EVERYTHING flew off of my shelf at lightning speed. I was refilling as fast as I could with default price wheat, and that flew off the shelf as fast as I could load it until I ran out of wheat. In all, about 3 total reloads of the shelves until someone bought the wool and the sales fizzled out. And yet, when I went shopping tonight (several cycles) half of the stores were were empty by the time I got there. And my friends' stores are almost all empty too. I can't figure out what is going on, but the newspaper is broken.
