Is it really that HARD to double tap when someone helps your trees/bushes??

I don't send thankyou notes to people who raid my shop (sometimes they get only one ty letter). Other polite players get all ty letters from me.
With you it must be some kind of glitch.

I refused to tap a second time only once when someone came in and hijacked 30 or so nectar bushes that I had just set up for a help task for my hoodie.
They may have done it quite innocently. I don't know. But at the time I wasn't feeling very grateful to them.

Any other time I just double tap.

Personally I don't care if I get gift cards or not. How many instruments does one need anyway?

As a result of this thread, I now tap multiple times just to make sure everything is sent. I welcome help and don't want to short change anyone.

Many times lower level people don't understand how the thank you notes work. When they take a help task, and ask for trees, I will turn on 20 to 30 trees and I always tap as many times as it takes to send thank you notes, then they only get 1 thank you the next day from the postman. Maybe the person that posts this thinks that if they revive 20 trees on one farm they will get 20 thank you notes from the postman. Isn't it true that no matter how many trees you revive on one farm you will only get one thank you note per farm per day (for trees/bushes). I think for boat crates you get more than one thank you note per farm. And of course no matter how many you help, you can only get the maximum of five per day.

If you read the post it said "the postman shrugs his shoulders and rides off into the sunset" its not about the number of bushes/trees revived and getting that many thank you notes, it's the fact that if I have helped, say 7 farms, I'm getting NO thank you notes AT ALL. Even if it is 1 per farm, I'm not getting 7 thank you notes. I know you only get 5 vouchers per day, but it's not even about them. It's about being polite and saying THANK YOU to the person that bothered to help YOU

A term used when someone you didn't expect to buy from your shop, buys everything from your shop.

Wow, I have been playing Hay Day over a year now and had never heard that before. I sometimes buy everything in someone's shop, never thought it would bother anyone to do that. And I have filled my shop with things to sell and one person buys it all, that's fine with me. The stuff is FOR SALE, why should it matter who buys it?! If I want to sell something to someone in my neighborhood I don't advertise it in the paper, and I have communication with my neighbor to know they are at my shop and waiting when I put the item up. Seems like some folks take this game way too seriously.

Yup, it's quite amazing the number of self-invented rules players make up and then expect several million players to somehow follow these made up rules and what's worse (and saddens me) is that they get all upset when this invariably doesn't happen.

Since I read here I've learned that countless things done in innocence are offensive to others. So with players I'm friends with I follow their lead. If they buy out my shop, I feel free to do the same, they water my plants, so do I, etc. . If they buy just a few items, so do I. Sometimes it's hard to keep track but I try
