Iv actually never heard of that strat before you mentioned it and have never seen it used in any of our wars. It looks like hero's make up a large portion of the attack while the golems tank and is only used on one type of base. By the time you ug your hero's you will be comfortable with attacks that look a little more consistent. I have been using gobolaloon in the last 3 or 4 wars and have been three staring Max th9s. If not that then gohobo or even hphb. Basically what I have learned is that after mid th9 your comps should be different, even slightly, every time you attack because each base is different.
I never had much success with it. Hphb more consistent on ground but loons in LaLoon or GoLaLoon are king these days at th9 war. At least for going after max defense, more than half lava wall and 25+/25+ defending heroes
I don't think there is anything wrong with it but it is somewhat base dependent and even with golems tanking wizards are very suspectible to being picked off or hitting a giant bombs. Most people prefer attacks where the main troop providing all the firepower has a little more hp like hogs/valks instead of wizards.Originally Posted by Arjuknowseverything
Golem avalanche is very base dependent. The ideal base for golem avalanache is one with a dead compartment in the middle, and large compartments surrounding it. Enter at one compartment, and then just work your way around. 4 jump spells. I did it back before there were bowlers. Now it's even easier.
Please state a great strategy for war I'm max th8 just reached th9 working on lab cc factory AQ.

When I first transitioned to th9 I would use quad quake govaho and would smash all my targets. I also went the 8.5 route and was matched against th8s for awhile. Another great early strat is dragaloon. After you ug your cc and spell factory you can take out two air defences and take a hound in cc. Get those camps upgraded asap, will help a lot in war

I only have lev 2 valks and level 4 hogs think that'll work?

I always fail using govaho on Th9 bases, i think it is weak strategy and is no longer reliable, i wish i upgrade loons and lava first and i didn't waste so many months on golem valks and hogs.
