People who engineer (not including normal .5 progression), whether roster, base or any combination thereof, do not get to complain about any aspect of matching since they are simply trying to ensure that they have an advantage. Getting out engineered is part of the game for you...
Our last 7 Wars we have been heavily outmuched and none more so than the latest one. Our No.1 is a 1 Day Old 9.5 with no new defences,there No.1 is a TH10 with all new Defences all be it low level. Our No.2 is a highish 9 matched against a very strong TH10 with all defences bar a Xbow. All other spots are equal. How on earth is this a equal matchup, mm has never been so bad imho it's making me wonder if it's worth bothering.����

So, the lesson from that match is that making the 9.5 hurt the clan and it would be better if it instead didn't try to engineer? Even before the October update that hurt .5s, it was never a good plan to have a .5 as your top base.Originally Posted by RedBuc

It's got TH10 camps and spells, I presume, therefore it's basically a weak TH10.
I don't know about before October, as we didn't really then, but since I've quite liked 9.5s at or very near the top. Not in terms of having an advantage - on the whole it seems fairly balanced - but it makes for a fairly brutal 3*-or-bust attitude to attacking inferno bases, which seems lacking in many clans that top out at TH10 and sit 2*ing each other.

1 TH10 Camp and yes SF but still shouldn't draw 2 TH10s. I would understand 1 but not 2

OP, anyway you could possibly update us on the war?
If it has th10 offense, which I assume it does or you wouldn't call it a 9.5, then October changed match making to count more offense in the equation. More and more people with .5s are saying they seem to be matching with full halls of that level.
I think .5s are still a good upgrade path, but I've never thought a .5 at the top is good because it too often results in the other clan having their top have the full hall, not the .5, that corresponds to your .5. "Near" the top is much different, because that suggests you have a full account at the top, which can handle the full account the enemy has.

I Still can't understand how we got matched with this clan, absolutly unfair in my view!
We are still fighting, they are winning, but we have a lot of atack still to do, yet that number 1 is like almost impossible to 3 star with TH8 troops now
How can our top 1 player do it?
Queen is only lvl 4 and healers only lvl 2, so queen walk is gona be hard.
Dragons get rekt with that infernos.
We don't know what to do
