Sort of, but even if the clan has all th9 in war, they can have one th10 not in war donating max troops. The clan match maker doesn't account for people not in war or clan level. I also see people on global getting max troops for war all the time.Originally Posted by Williams22803

It all comes down to if you can attack or not. It will make a difference but like you said they don't account for high level bases not in war.
Our clan is lvl 8, and our best player in our clan is the top1 we have in this war, its a TH8 troops!
Im not complaining about the engeneering, maybe if you read the thread properly you would understand my point here!
I'm pretty ok with the engeneering, despite us not doing it as heavy as the enemy clan, yet what i can not understand is this "MATCH UP", how can it be fair, matching a Th11 with 2 infernos, 3 xbows, and TH10 troops /spells against a TH8.25 (Th8 troops)???
Infernos and xbows are suposed to have a lot of weight, so how can this happen?
The problem here is not the engeneering, but the BAD MATCHES!

Are you saying that your clan lvl is 85% of the algorithm in determining who you will draw as a opponent?
Maybe they aren't engineered, maybe theyre just awful. And even if they are engineering, you said that you do too. Kettles should not complain about how black pots are.
Maybe I'm ignorant to this however I thought clan lvl is for the perks and that's it. Maybe a little bragging rights but......
I personally think you're complaining about being out engineered. The bad matches happen due to engineering, which you're partaking in. The problem here is you've been out engineered due to engineering yourselves.
Edit: I also want to touch on this.
The xbows and infernos do carry a lot of weight. When your troops, spells and point defense is a low as that 11 it lowers their overall weight meaning those fat xbows and infernos weigh less overall.

And you can not compare our engeneering .25 .5 to their extreme one! Yet it's not about the engeneering here, but about the freaking TH11 :'(
We got matched against so many engeneered clans, im not complaining at all because of that, since today almost any clan is doing it...i only created the thread to show the community the "Match up", what i find not fair is the match up here, ofc we should get matched with engeneered clans, but not such radical opponents.
I don't see how matching a TH11 with 2 infernos, 3 xbows and miners can be fair at all in this case. (BTW we got no advantage at all below, so it's not fair at all)
My point here, they should have been matched at least against a clan with at leaste a TH9 defense or troops, not against us with only TH8 stuff.

The 11 has scrub point defense. Just focus on getting into the core and taking out the infernos. Level 1 xbows aren't doing to do that much damage. You should net a good 2 star with a high percentage. I doubt their 11 is going to three star either of your top two with the troops he has.
