You have to neet the clan requirements to be leader, so nothing too extreme is possible on that front.

As for clan voting, that's a really tricky (but valid) point. Do you have anything in mind to try to prevent that?

Maybe all the possible leaders could vote for someone else? (Besides themselves obviously lol)

Not that I can think, but usually most daily forumers over 1k posts are trustworthy and wouldn't pull a stunt like that just to be the 'leader' of a temp clan.

So I'd say put a post requirement (especially for the first clan), if it's 1k or 2k that's up for discussion...

I'll point to the "Most likely to be made a mod" (found here) poll from several months ago as an example of this. I know I never asked F4 members to vote for me, and I assume Daddy never asked Bonbee members to do it either, but that's basically what that poll turned into. If something similar were to happen here, it could actually cause a problem.

While I agree that the leader should be a trustworthy, fairly high posting forumer, that has absolutely no effect on the potential actions of their clans. Obviously, this involves fears that may never materialize, but that was what came to my mind when you mentioned that.

Now maybe the second clan should only have two or three leaders with at least 500 posts each

A clan will have as many leaders as it needs. If the second clan gets filled, then yes you will need more leaders. But... If there are only 20-30 then only 1 or 2 leaders would be needed.

Again with the post count... It is a good indicator, but some people lurk, read everything but don't feel the need to post, therefor only having 50 posts.
